Hello Hiver community! Today I would like to share with you an update on my vines!

Historic
Vines, which are the plants that produce grapes, are generally managed to be arranged in parallel lines with a height that facilitates planting and harvesting of fruits.
I only have one vine, and I chose to direct it along three parallel lines of wire that serve as a guide for the growth of the branches.
In September this year I carried out pruning, which is the delimbing of the plant and the removal of unwanted shoots, aiming to prepare it for new fruiting.

Time to bear fruit
Soon after delimbing, the plant reacts by beginning to sprout. Expansion is very rapid and you need to be careful to maintain available moisture in the soil.
Many branches should appear going everywhere. You need to be careful because if the branches develop in a place without adequate support, when the bunches of grapes appear, the branch may break due to the weight.
Another factor that can harm the plant’s development is rain. Brazil is under the effect of the El Niño climate phenomenon, which causes a lot of rain. On October 6th we had a large volume of rain with wind, which damaged my vine.

The rain continues to interfere with the plant's development, but now with the formation of clusters practically completed, our only concern is the lack of sun, necessary to ripen the fruit.

The grains reached a size close to their final size at the end of November and since then we have been waiting for them to mature before harvesting.
You can see several well-developed bunches of grapes.
I already picked an earlier bunch that was ripe, and it really was delicious. This homemade, pesticide-free production is popular among friends and family!
Luckily we have more than a hundred bunches in development.
Considering the size of these beauties, I think they will suit everyone!

Olá comunidade Hiver! Hoje eu gostaria de compartilhar com vocês uma atualização quanto às minhas videiras!

Histórico
Videiras que são as plantas que produzem a uva, geralmente são manejadas para serem dispostas em linhas paralelas com altura que facilite a condução do plantio e colheita dos frutos.
Eu tenho apenas uma videira, e escolhi direcionar ela em três linhas de arame paralelos que servem de guia para o crescimento das ramas.
Em setembro deste ano eu realizei a poda, que é o desgalhe da planta e a remoção dos brotos indesejados, visando preparar para a nova frutificação.
Eu fiz uma postagem sobre a poda, e hoje estou trazendo o resultado pra vocês!

Tempo de frutificar
Logo após o desgalhe, a planta reage começando a brotação. A expansão é muito rápida e você precisa estar atento para manter a humidade disponível no solo.
Muitas ramas devem aparecer indo para todos os lados. É preciso ter cuidado pois se as ramas desenvolverem para um local sem sustentação adequada, quando os cachos de uva surgirem o galho pode quebrar devido ao peso.
Outro fator que pode prejudicar o desenvolvimento da planta é a chuva. O Brasil está sob efeito do fenômeno climático El Niño que causa muita chuva. No dia 06 de outubro tivemos um grande volume de chuvas com vento, o que danificou minha videira.

A chuva continua interferido no desenvolvimento da planta mas agora com a formação dos cachos praticamente concluída a nossa única preocupação é a falta do sol, necessário para amadurecer a fruta.

Os grãos atingiram o tamanho próximo do do final no final de novembro e desde então estamos esperando pelo amadurecimento para realizar a colheita.
Você pode ver vários cachos de uva bem desenvolvidos.
Já colhi um cacho mais adiantado que estava maduro, e realmente estava delicioso. Essa produção caseira e sem agrotóxicos é disputada entre os amigos e familiares!
Por sorte contabilizamos mais de cem cachos em desenvolvimento.
Pelo tamanho dessas belezinhas, acho que vai dar pra todo mundo!
