Holozing Review + My initial strategy [EN/ES]

This is a first approach to @holozing, the new role-playing and adventure game that has been announced on the Hive network. This game comes from acidyo (Acid), but of course he is not alone in its development, as he has the help and support of an excellent team:

And even when the game itself has not yet been released, a lot of information has been published, such as the design of the amazing creatures included in the starter pack (see cover image). For more information you can refer to the different sources: the official website, the Holozing community and the whitepaper.

Something we can also take advantage of at this early stage of the game is the initial distribution of the token. Stick around because there are many ways to earn the token and you will be surprised to learn that YOU COULD START EARNING MONEY TODAY.

Here is what I am doing to earn ZING tokens, take note:

  • Delegate HIVE Power (HP) to the @zingtoken account. That account is close to reaching 3 million HP delegated and everyone who delegates to it is getting ZING tokens back.

Personally I delegated all the HP I had available (about 190 HP) and started the process of recovering the HP I had delegated to other projects. My intention is to move all that HIVE Power to Holozing to take advantage of the momentum and accumulate as many tokens as possible.

There are only a few hours to go before I get back more than 1200 HP that will be added to the 188.28 that I already have incorporated.

This mode allows you to earn ZING tokens without the need to invest in the game itself, so I am already positioning myself for its official launch.

The second way to earn ZING tokens is as follows:

  • Owning POSH tokens. If you have POSH tokens in your Hive wallet I want to tell you that you are not earning money, since you only have to log in to the HOLOZING website (https://holozing.com/) so that it starts rewarding you for being a POSH holder.

In my case I didn't have POSH, but I bought some, I was surprised how much its price has gone up and I instantly understood why. Users have bought a lot of this token wanting to take advantage of this new benefit.

This is one of the investment that is having more ROI (look at its APR) but I think it is more appropriate for those who already had the POSH tokens, because as I said before the price of the token (as of today) has risen a lot.

This is a hybrid mode, it is up to you to decide whether to buy POSH or take advantage of the ones you already have. I was at zeroes so I bought about 72 units.

The third way to earn ZING tokens does involve an investment:

  • Adding liquidity to the DEX in the ZING:SWAP.HIVE pair. This method is quite classic in the world of decentralized finance and consists of adding the same amount of ZING as SWAP.HIVE to a decentralized exchange (in this case: TRIBALDEX).

In my case I tried, I can't lie, but in reality I am a small fish in this vast ocean and my participation in the pool was tiny, as well as the return I received in return, so I withdrew the liquidity I had added and converted the SWAP.HIVE into more POSH. The ZINGs I acquired to complete the pair I put into STAKING and am now receiving rewards for them as well.

Fourth mode (and last at this time) to earn ZING tokens:

  • Staking ZING tokens. It turns out that the three previous modes give you back staked ZING, not liquid ZING, so every time I make a claim more ZING tokens are added to my stake. It is a snowball effect where all actions lead to the same goal: to earn more ZING.

In my particular case I already commented that I backed out of adding liquidity to the pool, so I put those tokens in staking and now they are generating more. It's quite simple actually, it works similar to any staking.

What do I plan to do with the tokens I am earning?

The first thing you should know is that as they are Hive layer 2 tokens, they are easily exchangeable, so I can exchange them for liquid HIVE, add more HP to my account, exchange them for HBD to protect myself from price volatility, etc.

Another, rather obvious, use is to keep these tokens with a view to being used in the game itself. It's been a long time since I've been excited about a game but I want to give this one a go as I'm taking advantage of it from an early stage, I think this is a key factor in getting a better return.

Este es un primer acercamiento a @holozing, el nuevo juego de rol y aventura que ha sido anunciado en la cadena de Hive. Este juego llega de la mano de acidyo (Acid), pero por supuesto que no está solo en su desarrollo, ya que cuenta con la ayuda y el respaldo de un excelente equipo:

Y aunque el juego, propiamente dicho, aún no sido lanzado, si que ha sido liberada mucha información al respecto como por ejemplo el diseño de las increíbles criaturas incluídas en el pack inicial (ver imagen de portada). Algo que también podemos aprovechar desde esta etapa tan temprana del juego es de la distribución inicial del token. Quédate porque hay muchas maneras de ganar el token y te sorprenderás al saber de que PUEDES COMENZAR A GANAR DINERO HOY MISMO.

Esto es lo que yo estoy haciendo para ganar tokens ZING, toma nota:

  • Delegar HIVE Power (HP) a la cuenta de @zingtoken. Dicha cuenta está próxima a alcanzar los 3 millones de HP delegados y todo aquel que le delega está recibiendo tokens ZING de vuelta.

Personalmente le delegué todo el HP que tenía disponible (unos 190 HP) y comencé el proceso de recuperación del HP que tenía delegado a otros proyectos. Mi intención es trasladar todo ese HIVE Power a Holozing para aprovechar el momentum y acumular la mayor cantidad de tokens posible.

Faltan pocas horas para que vuelvan a mi poder más de 1200 HP que serán sumados a estos 188.28 que ya tengo incorporados.

Esta modalidad te permite ganar tokens ZING sin necesidad de invertir propiamente en el juego, por lo que desde ya me estoy posicionando de cara a su lanzamiento oficial.

La segunda modalidad para ganar tokens ZING es la siguiente:

  • Poseer tokens POSH. Si tienes tokens POSH en tu billetera de Hive quiero decirte que estás dejando de ganar dinero, ya que solo debes iniciar sesión en la web de HOLOZING (https://holozing.com/) para que esta comienze a recompensarte por ser poseedor de POSH.

En mi caso no tenía POSH, pero compré un poco, me sorprendió lo mucho que ha subido su precio y al instante entendí el motivo. Los usuarios han comprado muchísimo este token queriendo aprovechar este nuevo beneficio.

Esta es una de las opciones que más retorno está teniendo (mira su APR) pero creo que es más apropiada para aquellos que ya tenían los tokens POSH, pues como dije anteriormente el precio del token (a día de hoy) se ha elevado muchísimo.

Esta es una modalidad híbrida, queda en tus manos decidir si compras POSH o aprovechas los que ya tienes. Yo estaba en ceros así que compré unas 72 unidades.

La tercera modalidad para ganar tokens ZING sí conlleva una inversión:

  • Agregar liquidez al DEX en el par ZING:SWAP.HIVE. Este método es bastante clásico dentro del mundo de las finanzas descentralizadas y consiste en añadir la misma cantidad de ZING que de SWAP.HIVE a un exchange descentralizado (en este caso: TRIBALDEX).

En mi caso lo intenté, no puedo mentir, pero en realidad soy un pez pequeño dentro de este basto océano y mi participación en el pool era ínfima, así como el retorno que recibía a cambio, por tanto retiré la liquidez que había agregado y convertí los SWAP.HIVE en más POSH. Los ZING que adquirí para completar el par los puse en STAKING y ahora estoy recibiendo recompensas por ellos también.

Cuarta modalidad (y última de momento) para ganar tokens ZING:

  • Hacer staking de tokens ZING. Resulta que las tres modalidades anteriores te devuelven ZING stakeado, no líquidos, por tanto cada vez que hago claim más tokens ZING se añaden a mi stake. Es un efecto bola de nieve donde todas las acciones conducen al mismo objetivo: ganar más ZING.

En mi caso particular ya comenté que me retracté de añadir liquidez al pool, por lo que esos tokens los puse en staking y ahora están generando más. Es bastante sencillo en realidad, funciona similar a cualquier stake.

¿Qué pienso hacer con los tokens que estoy ganando?

Lo primero que debes saber es que al ser tokens de la capa 2 de Hive, estos son intercambiables fácilmente, por tanto, puedo cambiar los por HIVE líquido, añadir más HP a mi cuenta, cambiarlos por HBD para protegerme de la volatilidad del precio, etc.

Otro uso, bastante obvio, es conservar estos tokens con vistas a ser usados en el propio juego. Hace mucho tiempo no me emociono con un juego pero quiero darle la oportunidad a este ya que lo estoy aprovechando desde una etapa temprana, creo que esto es un factor clave para obtener un mejor rendimiento.
