In September 2020, people could contribute hive to earn CTPSB tokens. For every hive they contributed, they would receive 1 CTPSB tokens on the first of October 2020. We have come a long way since then. After 3 years and 5 months, the value of each CTPSB tokens is now 3 Hive! This means that the people who invested at that time, have tripled their Hive.
I would like to give a big thanks to everybody who believed and still believes in this project!
Curation switch
Starting from today, we have switched the curation model for the @ctpsb token as announced in our previous posts.
In the past, we based our curation based on the monthly ranking that we established. Unfortunately, the number of people taking part in this ranking was not enough to use all the voting power of @ctpsb. Therefore, we had to find solutions to avoid having idle voting power. Also we didn't really manage to create a community around CTPSB after the CTP community more or less disappeared from hive.
The Liotes project that I manage together with @ph1102 has developed an amazing curation program called ourpick. A team of manual curators are picking posts on a daily basis that we deem worth reading. These posts are highlighted in our @ourpick posts and they are also upvoted with the @liotes.voter account. We have decided to support this curation project by following the liotes.voter curation trail. Like that the CTPSB project can help reward content that stands out on hive.
We believe that by rewarding content that is worth it, we can contribute to increase the average quality of content on hive which is beneficial for hive itself and also for all the curators and content creators. If good and hard work pays, I think that we incentivise something positive here on this blockchain.
