Gm Gm guys! It’s another week and the prompt this time is so amazing since it is one that actually calls for a discussion.
The question for discussion says: Say you're starting a company, who would you have work for you, humans or AI agents?
I know, I know. Yeah AI is the new boy on the block. From chatbots to virtual assistants, you name it, smart tools are just everywhere. They can actually write emails, generate beautiful art, analyze data and even hold conversations with you; I see it all over X.
But if I were to really hire someone? Someone that I would entrust a job, a task that needs depth, emotion, and creative thinking or even a vision, I would gladly and readily choose a human without thinking twice.
Wanna know why right?
Well, we humans are insanely creative. Like, beyond explanation. We come up with ideas that don’t follow a script, ideas that definitely defy logic, the ones that surprise even us sometimes.
That’s actually something no AI can replicate. The best it can do is predict based on patterns, but it cannot create from a place of experience or emotional depth.
Can we not just forget the fact that these AI agents that people are so fascinated with, were still created by humans? That alone should tell you, that behind every smart algorithm or intelligent response is a human mind that has imagined, designed and built it from scratch.
That’s why I believe that, yes, while AI might help us do things much faster or more efficiently, we shouldn’t use it to replace the brilliance of human input.
Because humans bring more than just knowledge by bringing empathy, intuition, and even an in-depth soul.
So no matter how shiny or impressive AI becomes, it’s still just a tool. Yea, it may be Helpful and sometimes, reliable. But hireable? Not in my books.
It’s like asking me, “Would you rather eat instant noodles every day or enjoy a rich pot of Eguisi soup cooked with love and intentionality?” Yea, the noodles are very quick and so convenient, but they will never be compared to the taste and warmth of a home cooked meal.
That’s just the difference between AI and humans.
And honestly? That’s why I’ll always choose people.
