Better to start something than none. I talked about how yesterday was more like a ‘one man squad' on me. Only me trying to meet up with so many things in the office. It can be a little boring to even start with. The entire brain cracking was in me. Adding to that, I did spend a lot of time in the process.
Not that I was even able to get it to the perfection I needed but I had to. Machineries in the office added up wanting to be a means of discouragements and well time was ticking.
I achieved less and also was exhausted but better something on the table than none. I was planning of getting to the office early and that in particular ended up a green tick. You should imagine the extra energy. First, my decisions were very precise. Meeting up with morning postings on my various handles wasn't difficult.
I still had some leftover machine fault to fix and I didn't even see this one coming. Our weaving machine just picked up a fault. Well, it was faulty earlier than I noticed and I wasn't informed about it. It is one of the crucial machines for both finishing and time saving.
Nearly an hour wasted trying to meet up an urgent repairs and I had to finally give up. You may be wondering, why didn't I just put up a call to the technician. It's another story to start with, it is the earlier improper repairs he did that is giving us extra work.
Adding to that, how soon can he show up. I have dealt with technicians for a while and the earliest advice is to look for possible in-office solutions. Maybe I should also add that, I am tired of the current technician already. I will have to call someone else and see how reliable and also affordable his service can be.
Getting back, well I can say the yesterday’s effort paid off. Just imagine how it would have been to step into the office to find out that there is a lot to get out and machines are not functioning right.
We had to suspend that in order to meet up with time. I had to turn my focus to finishing the sewing at hand needed. I can say I am currently hugely relieved. We had a delivery date close at hand, there was a need to put some pressure on my colleague in order to meet up.
Ihad somewhere to meet up in the early afternoon hours. Actually it was meant to be something of an hour and a half. I knew it might even be longer than that and well, I am still there. Consider what would have happened today if nothing productive had happened yesterday
In conclusion, let me add, little efforts do add up. Just make sure you are making progress every single day. Get a target and start there. Time doesn't wait, endeavor not to waste it.
