Acts 15:16-17 NIV [16]“ ‘After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, [17]that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things’ —

Extracted from >Amos 9:11, 13 NIV [11] “In that day “I will restore David’s fallen shelter— I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be,

Some gospel ministers are singing revelation. As I was trying to get a read through this scriptures, guess what I found in the latter part?

[13] “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills,

Ok, this has been my music for the month: Fragrance by Min. Esther Orji. The chorus of the worship is this: >Your presence is like wine Pouring down the mountains and the hills Kadosh! Kadosh!!

And I just realized she picked this revelation from Amos 9:13. To even add to that, I have picked up another revelation from this scriptures as connecting to the miracle of Jesus in the wedding banquet. Another big article to discuss faith another time.

To even start with, have you ever woken up with heavenly ministrations on your lips? God is still dropping sounds from above. I hope you know?. Maybe still something to discuss at another time.

Why would God choose to rebuild the tabernacle of David instead of the magnificent temple Solomon built for God. The first take home here; God is after spiritual alignment rather than just mere building. In the days of King David, he made sure although where God's ark dwelled was just a temporary tabernacle, every needed daily activities were met. He employed Levites in their thousands to keep all round prayer time.

David’s heart was fully committed to the things and well being of God and the people he has been given to shepherd over.

On the other hand, King Solomon built a magnificent structure as God’s temple but later flawed out. His heart was no longer devoted to the things of God. To make it even worse, he built shrines in Israel for all his foreign wives. I hope you know God first accepted the man before his sacrifice.

We can also see this in the story of Cain and Abel. God is after believers who will not only show devotion but also keep the devotion going. It was because of David’s devoted acts that made God to sustain a single clan out of Israel (Judah) in other to fulfill the oath He had sworn concerning him.

To conclude, let me add, is there anything to take home from this article? Do drop your comment.
