Even if you started local, refuse to end local and I mean it. I have made this personal decision, whatever I do must have a global impact, period. If my business ends in my local government, state country or continent; this ALL means I am still very local. So you know what I mean when I say global stage.
I must say there are many things I am now doing for the first time courtesy of growth. Last month was a mentorship training session and it continued this March. Actually, I am pursuing a grant in this particular one; I keep it positive but the most interesting part of this is me learning.
Gather the right knowledge and I can assure you opportunities will come. note, I used the plural here; ‘opportunities’.
If you don't grab the grant, grab the knowledge, learn, improve and something worth it will certainly come your way. What you do is not the assurance but rather how you are doing it. I have to say in just the first session of this training, I have realized so many flaws. We are still local in many areas. Ok, I am not happy to say but this will force me to pursue growth.
One of the big questions in this session was, can you handle growth?. We are talking of structures and processes here. What are my business structures and what are my processes? When it comes to structures at least in the legal section we are a registered limited ⇪ company×. Nevertheless, we still have to step up. How about business operation structures?

First, we are working with a limited workforce, something I am putting needed effort to expand beyond. It will come at a cost without any doubts; reception, accountant, marketers and production.
If I could get my hands on this set of people then we are likely to scale faster than expected. companies don't go down mainly because they have no vision but rather because they are yet to meet or set up the right team to pursue this vision.
We can also talk of processes too after structures have been put in place. Anyway, this can be seen as secondary although also primary in some sense. It is from getting the structures that you can pass down processes. How strong are my structures and processes; whispering it low, ‘it really needs improvement’.
I have been too many things for this brand and it is not helping out. I guess it’s time I TRY to bring in people although I have to admit the risk involved.
To conclude, let me add, just day one into this grant training and I am feeling unprepared already to get this grant. I believe in favor, nevertheless, I have to work on capacity building.
There is much exposure to acquire in the process, something I have been shying away for a long time. Such ignorant days are over. We hit back to class same time again by tomorrow, I can't afford to fail; I must become the best version of me and I mean all round.
