Good afternoon dear friends of the @splinterlands universe. What better way to start this hot month of August in the northern hemisphere than getting in front of the computer to meet the weekly Social Media Challenge. You know we are in a few weeks where the 1-click rental option is being promoted and, believe me, it's something you should try or take a look at. In the meantime, I bring you a new analysis of a card that, although I don't use the life deck too much, is one of my favourites in the game. Join me as I'm sure you'll be surprised. Qué mejor manera de empezar este caluroso mes de agosto en el hemisferio norte que colocándome delante del ordenador para cumplir con el reto semanal del Social Media Challenge. Ya sabes que estamos en unas semanas en las que se está promocionando la opción de 1-clic rental y, creeme, es algo que deberías probar o darle un vistazo. Mientras tanto, yo te traigo un nuevo análisis de una carta que, aunque no utilizo demasiado el mazo de vida, es una de mis favoritas del juego. Acompáñame que, seguro, te va a sorprender. Comenzamos.
I don't want to pass up the opportunity to bring you a review of one of my favourite Splinterlands cards. It's part of the life deck and I'm talking about War Pegasus, no less... It's a card I use on a regular basis on the rare occasions I use this deck. If you've been following me for a while you know that my predilections go towards blue and green decks. Although it is true that the improvement of my summoners thanks to the daily and seasonal rewards have allowed me to diversify my decks and my strategies, making me a more unpredictable player than before.
No quiero pasar la oportunidad de traerte el análisis de una mis cartas favoritas de Splinterlands. Forma parte del mazo de vida y te hablo, ni más ni menos, que de War Pegasus. Es una carta que utilizo de manera habitual las contadas ocasiones que utilizo este mazo. Si me sigues desde hace tiempo sabes que mis predilecciones van hacia los mazos azul y verde. Aunque bien es cierto que la mejora de mis invocadores gracias a las recompensas diarias y de temporada han hecho que haya podido diversificar mis mazos y mis estrategias convirtiendome en un jugador más impredecible que antes.
War Pegasus is a rare card from the Life Deck. It has a somewhat high summoning cost of 7 mana, but in return, you'll be able to put a very versatile card into combat that will give you multiple options for your strategies. Its basic abilities, at level 1, are 2 ranged attack, 3 speed and 7 vitality. As for its special abilities, it will have Flying and Shatter at its first level and will gain Demoralize if you manage to evolve this Pegasus to its maximum level.
War Pegasus es una carta rara perteneciente al mazo de vida. Tiene un coste de invocación algo elevado siendo este de 7 puntos de maná, aunque, a cambio, vas a poder poner en combate una carta muy versátil y que te dará múltiples opciones para tus estrategias. Sus habilidades básicas, a nivel 1, son de 2 puntos de ataque a distancia, 3 de velocidad y 7 de vitalidad. En cuanto a sus habilidades especiales contará con Flying y Shatter ya en su primer nivel y obtendrá Demoralize si consigues evolucionar a este Pegaso hasta su máximo nivel.
The opponent in this battle supporting the War Pegasus analysis is going to be @dragonmasterthr3 who will be fielding a dragon deck combined with cards from the life deck. He also uses War Pegasus so it's the ideal scenario for you to see two different strategies with the card being analysed this week in this edition of the Social Media Challenge.

The Explosive Weaponry battle condition has played an important role in the development of the battle. None of us chose to place a tank with a shield, although I did place Legionnaire Alvar in second position Avoiding the first attack of his War Pegasus, whose Shatter ability removes his target's shield, gave me a small advantage that grew to give me a good victory.
La condición de batalla Explosive Weaponry ha tenido una importancia destacada en el desarrollo de la batalla. Ninguno hemos optado por colocar un tanque con escudo aunque yo si he puesto a Legionnaire Alvar en la segunda posición. Evitar el primer ataque de su War Pegasus cuya habilidad Shatter elimina el escudo de su objetivo me ha dado una pequeña ventaja que ha ido creciendo hasta darme una buena victoria.
