Over yonder is Highwood Ridge, as seen from the Ptarmigan cirque hiking trail. What a great view it was! Could have used a little bit of blue skies though, but you can’t win em all. Along side the trailhead there is an another available hike. A “dual trailhead” you might say. It is called “Pocaterra ridge”. At least double the elevation gain, and approximately twice the distance or so. Newly discovered (by me), this one is on my radar for this coming Summer. Priority is high, and am really looking forward to doing it. Especially taking some epic pics. My only wish is for good weather and blue skies! What are your plans for this coming Summer, do tell?
