Thanks to the high megapixel sensor on my Sony, it allows closeups like this, for me to show you. These Big birds are really quite large, weighing in on average of about 8lb or 3.6kg. However it is reported that they can grow to be as heavy as 18lb or 8kg, in some cases. You may need to consider finding cover as they fly by, to avoid the potential incoming excrement.
