It was a great day for hiking. Perfect weather in fact. In order to get to the trailhead, we needed to drive up an old logging road (about 25 kilometres). If you’ve ever been on an old logging road, then you know that they can be very bumpy. Not a soul around, perfectly quiet and beautiful. Just the way I like it. The hike itself took about an hour each way, not much elevation gain, which made for a relaxing hike. Cooper Lake is located near Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Did you get out into the wild this Summer?
