On the way back from our loop hike to Yankee, Canuck and Turtle lake, we ended out the day with a quick peak at Premier Lake (the biggest of the 4). Right away we encountered this family of ducks frolicking in the water. Very friendly and tame, allowing me to get some good closeup photos. Nice to see nature’s birds and us humans living together in harmony. A great day it was, visiting four lakes in one day! Definitely a place we will be going back to again sometime. This area is located in East Kootenay, British Columbia, Canada.
