Today I present to you more Turquise. I love the colour turquoise, how about you? This is Barrier Lake, one of Kananaskis’s many gems. The best part of the lake is not the lake itself, but the surrounding hikes one can do. Of course I am biased. Some would prefer to spend time on the lake, people like me would prefer to spend time hiking up the nearby tiny mountain (and taking a ton of photos). Just what I prefer. Does it mean I wouldn’t enjoy some water time? Sure I would, but with a limited amount of time to spend, one has to prioritize. For me, the hiking wins pretty much all the time. How about you, hiking or water activities, which wins for you?
