En casa tenemos muchos álbumes de fotos y lo increíble es que cada uno guarda una historia, ya sea un viaje, un cumpleaños, de diferentes años, pero cuando revisas todos podrás encontrar una o dos fotos de toda familia y más allá de la fotografía se puede ver mucho más que el paso de los años, se puede ver una historia llena de amor, unión y momentos que han marcado nuestras vidas desde que la familia creció a cinco integrantes. En esta primera imagen es un recuerdo de mi infancia, cuando realizamos un viaje familiar, para así todos poder conocer y ser felices con algo que a todos nos gusta y es viaje. Allí yo estaba pequeño, pero se puede notar la sonrisa y lo más valioso la foto familiar que hoy se convierten en recuerdos imborrables.
We have many photo albums at home, and what’s amazing is that each one holds a story—whether it’s a trip, a birthday, or memories from different years. But when you look through them all, you’ll find one or two photos of the whole family, and beyond the photographs themselves, you can see much more than just the passing of the years; you can see a story full of love, togetherness, and moments that have shaped our lives ever since our family grew to five members. This first photo is a memory from my childhood, when we took a family trip so that we could all experience and enjoy something we all love: traveling. I was just a little boy in that photo, but you can see my smile—and most precious of all, the family photo that has now become an indelible memory.
Otras de las fotos que valoro mucho y el tiempo ha pasado, donde ya todos crecimos, mis padres también han cambiado con los años, pero la familia ha seguido escribiendo nuevas páginas de su historia. Donde cambiar físicamente es normal, sin embargo, el cariño, el respeto y el apoyo mutuo permanecen y cada vez se vuelve más fuerte y por eso cada fotografía familiar se demuestra. Este tipo de fotografías que uno se toma en momentos preciso, ya que también eso va cambiando con el tiempo, las fotografías nos recuerdan que el verdadero valor de una familia no está en la perfección, sino en estar presentes unos para otros en cada etapa de la vida.
These are other photos that I cherish deeply. Time has passed; we’ve all grown up, and my parents have also changed over the years, but our family has continued to write new chapters in our story. While physical changes are normal, the love, respect, and mutual support remain—and grow stronger with each passing day—and that’s what every family photo captures. These are the kinds of photos we take at specific moments—moments that also change over time. They remind us that the true value of a family lies not in perfection, but in being there for one another at every stage of life.
Lo bonito de tener una familia sana, comprometa es que a lo largo de los años hemos tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar juntos, viajar, celebrar, compartir comidas, reír, superar dificultades y crear recuerdos que permanecerán para siempre, siendo algo que cada familia lo aplica a su manera, pero y nos lleva a quererlos muchos más. Donde hace poco ocurrió un gran terremoto en Venezuela que dejó a muchas personas afectadas, especialmente como familias en cuestión de segundos se destruyeron y eso nos lleva a darnos cuenta de que cada segundo que uno puede estar en familia valdrá la pena, porque hoy están, pero mañana no sabremos.
The beauty of having a healthy, close-knit family is that over the years we’ve had the chance to enjoy time together, travel, celebrate, share meals, laugh, overcome challenges, and create memories that will last forever—something every family does in its own way—but it makes us love them even more. Recently, a major earthquake struck Venezuela, affecting many people—especially families—whose lives were shattered in a matter of seconds. This makes us realize that every second we can spend with our families is precious, because they’re here today, but we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
Por eso cada foto que tengan con sus familias, nos recuerda que debemos agradecer cada día por quienes tenemos a nuestro lado, aprovechar cada oportunidad para compartir en familia y valorar cada instante. En casa todavía tenemos muchas cosas por hacer como familia y a pesar de que las dificultades que uno puede llegar a tener en estos momentos no nos harán frenar, cambiar de pensamiento, si no cada día seguir más fuerte y seguir creando más recuerdo y dentro muchos años poder decir, yo salí y compartí con mi familia.
That’s why every photo you have with your families reminds us that we should be grateful every day for the people by our side, make the most of every opportunity to spend time with our families, and cherish every moment. At home, we still have many things to do as a family, and even though the difficulties we may face right now won’t stop us or change our mindset, we’ll keep growing stronger every day, continue creating more memories, and—many years from now—be able to say, “I went out and spent time with my family.”
