La semana pasada se llevó a cabo otra jornada de las eliminatorias al mundial, donde cada uno de los equipos han dado lo mejor para seguir sumando puntos y poder asegurar ese puesto y su pase al mundial que todo los equipos sueña. Una de las jornadas más esperada era el duelo entre Venezuela contra Bolivia, siendo un partido que se iba a jugar en casa en el gran estadio monumental de Maturín, donde era un momento único para todos los venezolanos tener la oportunidad de ver dicho juego en vivo, así que más allá de poder disfrutar de los noventa minutos de juego, fue el privilegio de asistir a dicho estadio y vivir una experiencia inolvidable.
Last week another day of the World Cup qualifiers took place, where each of the teams have given their best to continue adding points and be able to secure that place and their pass to the World Cup that every team dreams of. One of the most awaited matches was the duel between Venezuela and Bolivia, being a match that was to be played at home in the great Monumental Stadium of Maturin, where it was a unique moment for all Venezuelans to have the opportunity to see the game live, so beyond being able to enjoy the ninety minutes of the game, it was the privilege of attending the stadium and live an unforgettable experience.
Ese mismo viernes que se realizó dicho juego entre ambas selecciones, nos dieron las entradas para asistir al estadio, donde era un momento de mucha felicidad poder ir, por ende nos tocó salir de casa muy tempranos y poder ir al estadio para poder tomar nuestro respectivo puesto y estar allí disfrutando de todo un espectáculo. Al llegar al estadio se podía sentir un gran ambiente lleno de mucha emoción y ver la cantidad de personas que estaban apoyando a la selección, donde caminar por los pasillos del estadio era imposible por la cantidad personas, además para mí fue impresionante ese instante que entre y logre ver la cancha, ya que tenía mucho tiempo que no asistía a dicho estadio.
That same Friday that the game was held between the two teams, we were given tickets to attend the stadium, where it was a moment of great happiness to go, therefore we had to leave home very early and go to the stadium to take our respective position and be there enjoying a whole show. Arriving at the stadium you could feel a great atmosphere full of excitement and see the number of people who were supporting the selection, where walking through the corridors of the stadium was impossible because of the number of people, also for me it was impressive that moment that I entered and managed to see the field, as I had long time that did not attend the stadium.
Este era un encuentro muy importante para Venezuela, por el mismo hecho de que están batallando un puesto seguro y no tener que jugarse un repechaje, por ende los tres puntos en casa eran fundamental, mientras que Bolivia, le toco viajar desde muy lejos para llegar a territorio venezolano y jugar este encuentro, ya que también necesitan una buena cantidad de puntos para estar en la batalla, por ende solo quedaba esperar ese momento en que el árbitro indicara el comienzo del juego. Además, otras de las cosas que me gustó fue poder ver cada uno de los calentamientos de ambos equipos y ese estadio cada vez más lleno de personas apoyando, gritando, aplaudiendo y así vivir una experiencia única al ver a la selección de Venezuela en Maturín.
This was a very important match for Venezuela, due to the fact that they are battling for a safe place and not having to play a playoff, therefore the three points at home were fundamental, while Bolivia, had to travel from far away to reach Venezuelan territory and play this game, since they also need a good amount of points to be in the battle, therefore it only remained to wait for the moment when the referee indicated the start of the game. Besides, other things that I liked was to be able to see each of the warm-ups of both teams and that stadium more and more full of people supporting, shouting, applauding and thus live a unique experience to see the Venezuelan national team in Maturin.
Un partido que comenzó con un pequeño error para la selección de Bolivia, la cual le afecto mucho y esto provoco un autogol, otorgándoles la delantera a Venezuela, donde todo el mundo quedo sin palabras al ver ese momento, sin embargo, se celebró de una gran manera que todo el estadio se paró a festejar, ya que apenas habían transcurrido muy pocos minutos de partido. De allí en adelante la selección de Bolivia realizo muy buenos ataques y jugadas muy bien alboradas, para así poder buscar dicho empate, donde una de las cosas que es impresionante de poder verlo en vivo, son las faltas y cada uno de esos momentos de mucha tensión cuando cualquiera de los dos equipos llegaba a la portería correspondiente.
La ventaja la tomo Venezuela para el minuto 30, donde la estrella del equipo lograr hacer un buen disparo al arco, que fue imposible para el arquero poder taparla y consiguieron ese segundo gol para la selección, donde poder celebrarlo junto a toda esa gente, gritarlo, brincar y ver como un estadio estaba muy activo y es algo maravilloso y uno no se da cuenta cuando ve un juego en una pantalla y se siente una gran emoción y más aún cuando se trata de nuestra selección. Donde, a partir de ese momento, ya se notaba la desesperación de Bolivia, pero se terminó el primer tiempo con un marcador de 2-0.
A match that began with a small mistake for the selection of Bolivia, which affected them a lot and this caused an own goal, giving them the lead to Venezuela, where everyone was speechless to see that moment, however, it was celebrated in a great way that the whole stadium stood to celebrate, since only a few minutes had elapsed in the match. From then on, the Bolivian team made very good attacks and very well executed plays, in order to look for the tie, where one of the things that is impressive to see live, are the fouls and each of those moments of great tension when either of the two teams reached the corresponding goal.
The advantage was taken by Venezuela in the 30th minute, where the star of the team managed to make a good shot at the goal, which was impossible for the goalkeeper to cover it and they got that second goal for the national team, where they could celebrate it with all those people, shout it, jump and see how a stadium was very active and it is something wonderful and you do not realize when you see a game on a screen and you feel a great emotion and even more when it is our national team. From that moment on, Bolivia's desperation was already noticeable, but the first half ended with a score of 2-0.
Un segundo tiempo donde ambos equipos siguieron batallando y jugando con un gran nivel de juego, como han venido jugando en estas eliminatorias, el cual se presentó otras oportunidades para la Venezuela, pero salían desviadas y eso mismo ocurrió para Bolivia. Todo se mantuvo igual y hasta el final del encuentro otorgándoles esa victoria para Venezuela y fue el momento más emocionante para todo los venezolanos en el estadio, poder celebrar una victoria de gran importancia, para así llevarse esos tres puntos Venezuela y eso nos permite sumar más puntos y cada vez más cerca de subir de puesto en la tabla, sin duda para mi fue un gran día poder asistir al estadio y ver dicho encuentro.
A second half where both teams continued to battle and play with a high level of play, as they have been playing in these qualifiers, which presented other opportunities for Venezuela, but went off target and the same happened for Bolivia. Everything remained the same until the end of the game, giving them the victory for Venezuela and it was the most exciting moment for all Venezuelans in the stadium, to celebrate a victory of great importance, to take those three points for Venezuela and that allows us to add more points and closer and closer to move up the table, no doubt for me it was a great day to attend the stadium and watch the game.
