For those who know my work since I started in #hive I have specialized in the technique of quilling and especially in the part of costume jewelry, this is a work of great patience and above all you have to be extremely careful when handling, especially when molding the small pieces, many things have gone wrong when working with quilling and quite a lot has stopped in the trash when I do not have a satisfactory result, casual and fortunately I have documented something that recently went wrong to cause me so much fun I took pictures, and they were in my phone bloopers type.

As I said recently I was making a simple pendant from only 5 open circles, I was taking my photos of the creative process as all of us who make tutorials do, I am also writing my step by step until the end.

That day I think I got off on the wrong foot because I had to make the pendant 3 times, everything was going well, I joined all the pieces, added the ring and crystals because I got stuck on one finger and one of the pieces got stuck to my skin and came off and unrolled the ribbon.

We must be very cautious when working with quilling, be careful to have your hands and each of the places where we work clean, free of glue, paint, water and anything that can damage it, but in this case would be to say keep your hands clean and without glue, first pendant in the trash. hahahaha. Again to make the pendant, once ready to apply the liquid protection and plasticized as I usually do in costume jewelry pieces, apply the first layer of extra strong glue, I do not deny that I was in a hurry, and let the piece dry without having it in sight, big mistake, because I must be aware, apply the product with caution so that the pieces do not unroll or deform, the purpose of molding quilling is that in its final result is intact the figure that is inside each molded circle, because this unrolled, it was horrible and hollow and lost its shape. .

Another charm to the trash and I repeated to myself never lose sight of your work or do things in a hurry, the only thing left from the rush is tiredness, hahahaha, I had to make the charm again to publish the post.

It was a pleasure to share these not so funny experiences at the time, nowadays they are just for laughs, and as anecdotes.
