Disfrutando de unos helados en familia//(Esp/Eng)

¡Hola, queridos amigos de esta comunidad! Espero que se encuentren bien. Aquí estoy nuevamente para compartir con ustedes otro de nuestros momentos bonitos que nos regala la vida en familia. En esta oportunidad, quiero contarles sobre una salida muy especial y maravillosa que tuvimos junto a nuestro amado nieto Gael, la cual nos llevó a descubrir un nuevo lugar en esta ciudad tan grande; se trata de la heladería Cibao.

​Como ya saben, siempre que viajamos a la ciudad de Maturín para visitar a Gael, nos encanta consentirlo, verlo alegre y feliz, y nos gusta llevarlo a esos lugares que tanto le fascinan y que sé que son sus favoritos. Sin embargo, los planes a veces dan giros divertidos y nos hacen que conozcamos otros lugares sin querer. Les cuento que, al llegar al sitio que teníamos pensado visitar, nos encontramos con que la zona estaba completamente llena y no había dónde estacionar el carro.

Hello, dear friends in this community! I hope you’re all doing well. Here I am again to share with you another one of those beautiful moments that family life gives us. This time, I want to tell you about a very special and wonderful outing we had with our beloved grandson Gael, which led us to discover a new place in this huge city: the Cibao ice cream shop.
As you know, whenever we travel to Maturín to visit Gael, we love to spoil him, see him cheerful and happy, and take him to those places that fascinate him so much—the ones I know are his favorites. However, plans sometimes take fun turns and lead us to discover other places by accident. Let me tell you that when we arrived at the place we’d planned to visit, we found that the area was completely packed and there was nowhere to park the car.

Nos estacionamos distantes del lugar donde pensamos entrar, que era la heladería Laya. Pero, lejos de amargarnos por lo sucedido o por el contratiempo, decidimos buscar una alternativa cercana. Fue así como vimos muy cerquita esta opción y dijimos: ¿Por qué no? Vamos a entrar a conocer esta nueva heladería". Y la verdad, ¡fue un gran acierto!

​Esta heladería, conocida como Cibao, resultó ser un espacio muy agradable. Apenas entramos, nos recibieron muy amables y con mucha cordialidad; enseguida nos mostraron el menú de los sabores de los helados. De verdad que había una gran variedad de sabores de ellos que se veían provocativos, de esos bien cremosos y suaves que tientan a cualquiera con solo mirarlos.

We parked a ways away from where we’d planned to go, which was the Laya ice cream shop. But instead of getting upset about what happened or the setback, we decided to look for an alternative nearby. That’s how we spotted this place right nearby and said, “Why not? Let’s go check out this new ice cream shop.” And honestly, it was a great choice!

This ice cream shop, known as Cibao, turned out to be a very pleasant place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very kindly and warmly; they immediately showed us the menu of ice cream flavors. There really was a wide variety of flavors that looked irresistible—the kind that are so creamy and smooth they tempt anyone just by looking at them.

​Pero les cuento que la verdadera magia del lugar para los más pequeños ocurrió apenas cruzamos la puerta: nada más llegar y Gael ver el castillo inflable, los ojos se iluminaron de emoción. Le tuve que decir que esperara un rato porque ya estaba ansioso por montarse, que primero íbamos a pedir los helados, así que él aceptó y cada uno pidió de sabor a arequipe. Al terminar de comerlo, enseguida se fue para el castillo a saltar y a disfrutar con los otros niños que se encontraban allí.

Así que esta fue una tarde maravillosa y muy divertida para todos nosotros. Amigos, los momentos más gratos en la vida son los que vivimos con la familia. Espero que les haya gustado. Hasta la próxima.

​> But let me tell you that the real magic of the place for the little ones happened as soon as we walked through the door: the moment we arrived and Gael saw the bouncy castle, his eyes lit up with excitement. I had to tell him to wait a little while because he was already eager to climb on it—that we were going to order ice cream first—so he agreed, and we each ordered the caramel flavor. As soon as he finished eating, he ran straight to the bouncy castle to jump around and have fun with the other kids who were there.

So this was a wonderful and very fun afternoon for all of us. Friends, the most enjoyable moments in life are the ones we share with family. I hope you enjoyed this post. See you next time.
