Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 35k Hive.

Last week I made 191.31, bringing me to 23986 total Hive Power. That’s 68.5% of my goal!

Math time. 35k - 23986 gives us 11014. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 35.5 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.

I haven’t been talking about HBD a lot, but I have been continuing to put .71 in savings every day (and .74 on Sunday) so that I can add 5 a week and 20 a month. While I have given into temptation to move all my HBD earnings into savings a few times, mostly I am limiting myself to the .71/.74.

I think Hive has the potiential to go up much more than 20% this year. BTC as well. That in mind, for people who are active, I think it makes much more sense to stay in HIVE. At the same time, I also think it’s smart to be safe with at least a portion of your money, so that is what I put into HBD savings. Of course is the Hive network goes kaput, that HBD also isn’t going to be worth much, so I guess it’s all a risk.

BRO & PIMP

Last week I earned 0.149 BRO, which puts me at 528.42 total or 52.8% of my goal. Still not making much progress here… But jumping to PIMP, I made 419.46 PIMP last week, putting me at 69175.74 — 69.2% of my goal.

CINE

I’ve also continued to buy .15 HIVE worth of CINE everyday. I’m up to 86,634.190 now! This, you could say, is my biggest gamble, hence why I’m not just aping into it. But I do trust @raymondspeaks when he says that he has big plans for both the token and the community. Make us rich, Ray!

Silver

Looking at the silver charts, we had an ok week. Down trend for the week, but it did start to recover there at the end.

By the way, if you don’t browser the #silvergoldstackers tag and you like precious metals, you are really missing out. So many people post about really nice coins everyday. If you have a loose wallet you could be in trouble, but then again, buying precious metals is one of the best ways to secure your wealth, so it’s really a win.
