Hello, ladiesofhive!
As a child, I had a dream job or skill I wanted to learn. And everyone in my house knew about it, I was always eager to put a light in our house especially when there was no light at that time in the village. We normally light a lamp or candle to see at night. One day, one striking idea came to my heart and I decided to work it out.

What was your dream job as a kid -versus- what job do you have today?
It came so strongly that I worked it out the way I wanted, and it came out. Everyone knew that I was going to be an electrician because of how constructive I was, in connecting wires to a battery to bring light to our rooms at night. My elder, had given me subjects I would study at school. I liked connecting wires, that was the job I had in mind as a kid. But as I grew up, things changed, not the way I had thought. Though I had a lot of things I wanted to become as a kid, an electrician, a footballer, a soldier, this and that. It was as hot as many things I could lay my hand on. But it's not so in real life when I was in my early 20's. I noticed that one thing at a time is okay for me.
What I am doing now is not what I dreamed of as a child; in fact, I never thought of that skill before in my life. Today, I am not an electrician but a fashion designer, designing different styles of dresses for people and then getting paid.
Fashion is what I am dreaming of now and to get it done in a grand style. For the past few years, my hands have gained mastery in fashion. I'm a professional now, sewing different styles for the customers. My duty is to satisfy their needs by giving them what they want beautifully.
Call me "World Fashion Enthusiast". My love for fashion is massive.
Thank you ladiesofhive for this topic. #302
