Theme-:" If You Had a Choice, Would You Stay Single or Be in a Relationship?
My response to this contest is this:
Being single or in a relationship depends on my vision and mission as a young person. I have many dreams and visions that I need to achieve in a relationship.
In my own state now, being in a relationship is not my priority because I know what it takes to be in a relationship and the demands that come from it. I am a young man of 25 years old and I am so passionate about my dreams and running towards them. So, for me to be in a relationship would make or break me, especially with a lady, which I wouldn't want to play with my destiny going this route.
Well, suited single man
To me, being in a relationship is not a good choice now, because of the consequences and my experiences dating a girl. Being in a relationship with a girl requires a lot of your time, energy, money, and sacrifice. I knew how much I spent on dating a girl who didn't understand purpose, vision, and the right path to take, all she needed was money, parties, and your presence. It drains a lot. After discovering this, I couldn't make up my mind to be in any relationship. I just want to be myself, go after my dreams and visions, and pursue them one after the other.
At this age, I want to live a life driven by purpose, I want to be whole as a young man. I want to save my money for the future or invest it in something that will produce results. Instead of me spending money on a lady, buying things, wasting my time, and more.
In this season of my life, I tend to be resourceful, purposeful, and goal-oriented. When I am whole, I can be in a relationship with another whole lady.
I choose to stay single but not forever, for reasons which I have stated.
