Good morning music lovers! 

It’s another week and so, another Tuesday of sharing Favourite Tunes. 

In a nutshell, This is TTT (Three Tunes Tuesday) and it’s an initiative started by @ablaze where you share your favourite tunes for the week. This is also a way to discover new sounds and meet people who have taste like yours.

I, for one, have come across great songs from @tengolotodo. The man may be old but he sure is spicy and very charming (be careful, he’s a heart stealer). 

For this week, I would like to share three tunes that have come to mean much more than just songs to me.

 

Yanni -Playing By Heart 

I remember listening to this song on the radio as a young girl. It’s one of the songs I grew up with. 

But I never knew the name and always thought it was the radio that owned it. But one day I came across it on a friend’s phone (I was older then) and quickly sent it to my phone. 

The song just had the title “Yanni”. I thought that was the title until I lost my phone, got a new one and began a hunt for this song again. I realised that Yanni was the artist. There an over a hundred songs. 

“Oh man!” Was what I thought. 

Recently on Hive, I began asking around about even on WhatsApp to see if anyone knew it. They did but had no idea the name. That was until recently when a Yanni fan sent me the link. I legit jumped for joy. No caps.

Like someone said, “this is a chill vibe. Even when you’re working”. 

And that is so true. I have been listening to this nonstop for the entire month of January. 

This soundtrack is the original of the anime “Insomniacs after school”. I love the music almost as much as I love the anime. 

13 episodes of a captivating story and plot theme. It’s a really good one. 

Aaron Smith - Dancin (Krono Remix)

This is the best sound to move to when doing chores in my opinion. I don’t dare listen on the road (unless I’m transit) except I’m looking to embarrass myself and dance on the road. These are the times I wish the world was void of people … lol. 

The only time I can fully enjoy this masterpiece is alone. Because I dance to my hearts content.
