Today we had some spare time in the afternoon so I decided to take my daughter out for a little adventure along the river Trail. She packed her own backpack for treats and water and she thought it was just a great time.
I think my favorite thing to do with my kids is just spend the time in nature. These fall days are almost winter spectacular. It was 58° outside after you move for about 15 minutes. You don’t even feel cold anymore. It’s actually one of my favorite temperatures.
we ended the walk by helping an elderly gentleman try to fix his car. In the end him and I both came to realize that I had no clue what I was talking about and neither did he. Neither of us were a car people. So we put it in neutral and pushed it to blocks Until we got to his house. My little daughter wasn’t much help when it came to pushing that big car.
it was kind of cool to serve somebody help them out when he stranded
