Elephants in the room
Today we gotta talk about the elephant in the room which is the absolute state of the Hive price because I know some of you are staring at those charts and feeling like you’re watching a slow motion car crash in a blizzard eh.
The numbers are looking pretty grim right now with the token sitting around nine cents and change which is a far cry from the glory days when everyone thought we were heading for the moon but let’s be real for a second because if you’ve been in this space for more than a week you should know that the market is a fickle beast and it loves to kick you when you’re down.
Is there hope though well that depends on if you’re here for the quick buck or if you actually give a damn about what’s being built behind the scenes because while the price is down in the gutter the actual network is still chugging along and the dev work hasn’t stopped just because some exchange decided we aren’t the flavor of the month anymore.
I see people whining about decentralization and chain politics every single day but at the end of the day Hive is one of the few places where you actually own your stuff without some sleaze ball CEO reaching into your pockets every five minutes and that kind of utility usually wins out in the long run if you have the stomach to wait for it.
The real danger isn’t the price dropping to zero it’s the community losing its mind and jumping ship for the next shiny object that promises a 100x return in two days because that’s how you get wrecked every single time so I’m just gonna keep stacking and staying low key while everyone else panics.
Don't get it twisted though I ain't saying go all in on a wing and a prayer because you gotta manage your risk and stay grounded in reality but as long as people are still posting and the nodes are still running there’s a path forward even if it’s a bit muddy right now.
Stay frosty and stop checking the charts every five minutes it’s bad for your health baby.
