Proposal

Summary:
incentive to create more demand for the DUO token, without incurring additional costs.

Situation/problem:
While we are nearing the end of the 1 Hive Duo sales bucket, we can also see large cheaper sales orders being opened and not getting filled. Furthermore, we see some unstaking on the explorer richlist and more liquid duo being kept. This suggest that we are losing some momentum.

Proposed solution:
Fully dedicate the sales revenue for the remaining batch of DUO at 1 Hive – that is being generated before date x

1. Creating a swap.hive:duo liquidity pool
2. Setting up an arbitrage bot (as the price will jump to 1.5 hive with the next bucket)
3. Add all remaining revenue to the pool (distribution period 180 days)

Expected outcomes:

1. Additional buying pressure to get in the pool / potentially selling out the 1 hive bucket.
2. Being more attractive for new investors due to the community provided exit capital for the investors that want out.
3. Arbitrage opportunities (Using the arbitrage bot to play in between market and pool) – generating additional income.
4. Increased unstaking (a portion of the current stakers might want to enter the pool without buying additional DUO, which they can do by unstaking)
   Risk: when this occurs and these investors sell half of their unstaked amount to the pool we will see some short term selling pressure.
   Intervention: arbitrage bot could help restore this short term disbalance
5. As a result of expected outcome 4. Daily Dividend rewards for remaining stakers might increase (same pool / less staked Duo)

Proposed planning:
Decision process (2 weeks)
Announcement result (1 day)
Deadline for sales (2 weeks after announcement)
Pool creation (1 day after deadline sales)
Reward distribution (1 day after pool creation)

Additional proposals
Suggestion that might be interesting to maintain the pool:
1A. Add all revenue generated by arbitrage bot (- operational costs) to the pool. (Benefit no addition costs)

Teams take

While we love the proposal there is some development cost involved in setting up such a bot, right now we are exploring if we can make something like this with some ready made hive tools we can use to save on costs.
