Another season wrapped up a few days ago, number 168, which means it's time to count and record how my reward card collection from the Conclave Arcana set is progressing. Very similar to season 167, where I opened the same types of chests but with their own tweaks, this time things suffered an adjustment: due to constant power outage interruptions in Venezuela, I couldn't finish the 250 battles quota in Survival mode. However, I went straight to the point by opening the first batch of Major Chests along with some Minor Chests, which brought solid progress and great surprises across all rarities.

Muy parecida a la temporada 167, donde abrí los mismos tipos de cofres pero con sus cambios, esta vez las cosas sufrieron un ajuste: debido a las constantes interrupciones por el racionamiento eléctrico en Venezuela, no pude completar la cuota de las 250 batallas en el modo Survival. Sin embargo, fui directo al grano abriendo el primer batch de Major Chests junto con algunos Minor Chests, lo que trajo un progreso sólido y muy buenas sorpresas en todas las rarezas.

Meanwhile, Torrent Sniper (69 copies), Gravebrand Warlock (64 copies), Saltwraith Bulkhead (63 copies), and Dragonfang Lancer (58 copies) keep maintaining a steady pace along the mid-tier curve.

Epic cards got a significant boost this season 168, with Saltwraith Pirate standing out once again by remaining at the top with a massive total of 15 copies. Added to this news is the excellent performance of Joraki Venshiro with 10 copies, followed by Voss with 9 copies, Tandi Janda with 8 copies, and Wailsworn Specter with 6 copies. Finally, both Kazira Vaelstrik and Rila Fen contributed 4 copies each to the collection.
Las tarjetas Épicas sumaron un impulso muy significativo en esta temporada 168, pero sigue destacando especialmente el caso de Saltwraith Pirate, que lidera la lista sin cambios con un imponente total de 15 copias. In the Legendary block, luck wasn't on my side during this opening, as I didn't add any new units, holding onto 1 copy of Halo Wisp and 1 copy of Nessa. To make matters worse, I had to sell my copy of Nyasha Mbalika to pay rent.

Adding new Legendary pieces broadens the tactical experimentation possibilities across competitive formats. These additions strengthen the high end of the deck's curve, offering quality answers against rivals with broader collections, but this season wasn't very kind to me in that regard.

The strategic decision to open the first batch of Major Chests paid off handsomely, delivering excellent cards, accelerating the level progression of Epics, and pushing Commons and Rares toward higher milestones. Maintaining this resource management discipline will be essential to face the ongoing Splinterlands season with strength.
La temporada 168 resultó ser una carrera de grandes resultados a pesar de los contratiempos en la acumulación de Glints. La decisión estratégica de abrir el primer batch de Major Chests cumplió con creces, entregando excelentes tarjetas, acelerando el nivel de las Épicas y consolidando a las Comunes y Raras hacia hitos cada vez más altos. Mantener esta disciplina en la gestión de recursos será fundamental para encarar con fuerza la temporada en Splinterlands que está en curso.
