Shudder has revealed the first look image for the next V/H/S movie, set to premiere on October 9, 2026. While many casual horror fans have been tracking the franchise due to the announcement of a future installment set within the SCP universe, I am a massive fan of this saga. Just like last year when I researched the creative minds behind V/H/S/Halloween to gauge its potential, this ninth entry titled V/H/S/MIXTAPE is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing yet.

While this theme might seem like a sudden surprise, it has been subtly teased across previous entries, which slowly introduced music video directors and stories like Shredding in V/H/S/99.
