No one is a seer when it comes to cryptocurrency, but trends and charts don't lie. For professional traders, they've mastered this act where the future of tokens and altcoins can slightly be predicted following market trends over the years. However, one pattern that failed was the usual bull run after Bitcoin halving. A few months back, the market was on red candles, almost all tokens experiencing a dip, and today they are gaining green candles. It shows how unpredictable the market can become sometimes. While a few people can make educated guesses about the outcome of a market over certain months, a lot of people just use the fear and greed index to decide their next line of action.
Even though the market isn't back to its all-time high, there's a future for cryptocurrency. Gradually, people are beginning to adopt it in their day-to-day transactions. Every sector is gradually incorporating cryptocurrency, and this means one thing: that someday the adoption would go global and it would be one of the most used methods of payment. That is, cryptocurrency would be the future while the banking system gradually adds cryptocurrency to its payment options. This may not happen as soon as possible, but everything happening today points in that direction. Cryptocurrency may have some downsides, but the bear market doesn't last forever; they take turns.

I think in the next 5-10 years, tokens that have been able to maintain their infrastructure and build through the bear market would experience tremendous increases. People would invest in cryptocurrency more than they invest in the traditional banking system. There would also be other protocols that allow transactions in exchanges easier. A lot of businesses would accept payments in cryptocurrency, and probably most services and exchange of goods would be in cryptocurrency. Those who are able to invest earlier would have a reason to smile because certain tokens may experience certain rises.
Bear markets may still hit, but they may not become as low as they are now. Everything revolves after certain years, and the same would happen with cryptocurrency. With the Nigerian government finally legalizing cryptocurrency, I believe it will gradually creep into many sectors and it would be a safe haven for organizations that plan to trade between countries. So for everyone who thinks cryptocurrency is dead, it's only beginning and it has a high place in the future to come. The same way Bitcoin started with people thinking it wouldn't amount to anything good is the same way it would gain acceptance among people until most things revolve around it.
