Greetings community.

Once again I want to participate in the weekly community contest, which has the theme Cinematographic shots. I will do so by showing a sequence of images taken from my most recent adventures in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. To be more specific, the images allude to river raiding, combat and exploration, as that is the very essence of a Viking's life.

The journey begins as usual on top of the drakar leaving early in the morning for unknown places in search of conquests, honor and blood.

During the journey we witnessed huge medieval buildings and some even older, which are historical vestiges that have withstood the passage of time. But our objective is beyond the explored waters.

After a long journey we arrived at the designated place just before dawn, which is better to go unnoticed, although in reality on this occasion it would not be necessary. At the sound of the battle horn, the entire crew rushed into combat.

4.png

As expected, we encountered resistance, but all fighting was in vain, as they were not prepared for what was coming. Among the strongest enemies I found a legionary with whom I engaged in a slower combat to take these violent captures that could well be taken from a Viking movie.

And so I continued the journey discovering new places. Slaughtering my enemies, filling the drakar with treasures and trying new fighting styles and different executions.

Leaving behind death and destruction in every settlement I passed. And don't get me wrong, but my crew has high pyromaniac impulses, as they often set the cabins on fire, even with me in them.

Not all journeys were made by drakar, as some monasteries and abbeys were separated from the river and to those I went alone adopting a different combat approach.

Speaking of combat, I will now show you a collection of images of these confrontations in which the executions of the standard bearers and lancers stand out.

26.png

In the case of the flag bearers, the main execution consists of impaling them through the abdomen with their own flag, although others can also be done to them.

27.png

These I show you below were my favorites because of the angle and the contrast of colors I got at that place and time of the day.

16.png

In the case of lancers, the execution is similar, but it is performed from above and, on many occasions, they do not fall to the ground and remain in that position.

19.png

At the end of the day, river lootings begin on top of the drakkar with the sound of the horn and end on the drakkar itself, laden with treasure and empty seats in case someone loses their life in combat.

Of course, the return home is always full of new songs, scars and stories in honor of the fallen. END.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed the story.
