Making Bell Pepper Fried Rice!

This is a simple and delicious Bell Pepper Fried Rice recipe that bursts with flavor and vibrant colors. It's great, especially when you need to knock together a quick meal that's rich in both taste and nutrition.


Ingredients used;

๐Ÿ’  2 cups of rice

๐Ÿ’  1 large-sized onion

๐Ÿ’  3 big ball peppers( preferably the red, the yellow and the green)

๐Ÿ’  3 tablespoons of vegetable oil

๐Ÿ’  1/2 cup kidney beans

๐Ÿ’  Salt

๐Ÿ’  Water

๐Ÿ’  Curry powder

๐Ÿ’  Thyme


I wash my onions.

Slice them into tiny bits.

And set aside.


Then I wash my bell peppers.

Chop them into tiny bits.

And set aside also.


Then I place my pot on the cooker and add my vegetable oil.

I add salt to taste.

I sautรฉ my onions in oil for 2 minutes.

I add bell peppers and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Until slightly tender and crisp.

I then add the kidney beans and stir gently for 2 minutes. Let them absorb the flavors.

Then I add my curry and thyme.

I allow to combine for about 60 seconds. Then I set aside.


I put about 1 litre of water in a separate pot.

Allow to boil.

I pour in a bowl and mix in my rice.

Wash thoroughly.

Until the water is almost clear.


With the rice in the pot, I add salt to taste.

I add my curry powder.

I add my thyme.

I add enough water to cook the rice. It must not be mushy and that's the reason I prefer long grain.

Allow to cook.

It is cooked, just the way I like it.

Then I add my bell pepper sauce into the rice and mix everything thoroughly over low heat.

It is ready!!!

Serve hot and enjoy.
