Hello guys, welcome to this wonderful and great day. My name is @edwincj and I am very happy and excited to be back here today. This is Sci-fi multiverse weekly prompt week 86 edition 2. And the topic for this day is “Why consistency is better than motivation”. This topic is a real one for me because I have seen plenty examples and I have had plenty experience relating to this very topic. And i am going to start by saying this, motivation dies with time but consistency grows with time. That’s one major difference that makes one better than the other. Let me give you all an example so you will understand how motivation and consistency works. Two guys are suppose to compete in a race, one of them trained very well and took his time to prepare for the race, the other one to trained very well but was not consistent, he had a goal and he was motivated that he was going to win. When the race started, the guy who was motivated from the beginning took of with speed, and was leading the other guy with a very big gap.

With time, the motivated guy became tired and started slowing down because he took of with much speed, but the guy who was consistent knew that to make it far is not by how fast you start but by how far you go, he kept running on the same pace and he eventually pass the first guy, the first guy failed not because he was not good, but because he was just motivated, and motivation made him run fast but not far. That’s how they both work. I hope with this I have already explain it to you all. This is where I will be stopping for today. Bye.
