Hello, Splinter Fanatics!

Splinterlands is one of my favorite games, and I play it almost every day. At the end of each season, players can claim the rewards accumulated during the season. In other words, the more you play, the more rewards you can receive at the end of the season.

This season, I practically gave everything I had to accumulate more Glint tokens. To my surprise, all the effort was worth it! I received 237K and another 125K Glint from Modern Ranked and Survival Mode, respectively. This gave me a total of 362K Glint. On top of that, I earned another 113K Glint for playing more than 250 battles in Survival Mode.

So, in total, I got 475K Glint! For me, this number is absolutely insane.

So, I used this huge amount of Glint to buy as many Epic Draws as possible. This gave me my first Epic card at level 5, Wailsworn Specter, which increased its magic damage by +1.

This is a monster that I have not really explored yet because of its Amplify and Bloodline Tribute abilities.

I used the remaining Glint to buy Common Draws, which resulted in 331 Common Reward cards. This also allowed some of my Common cards to reach the next level.

image.png

And now some of my Common cards are reaching level 8. At this level, some of them increase their damage or gain a new ability.

I think the hardest cards to max out are the Common and Legendary cards. Common cards require a huge number of BCX, up to 400, while Legendary cards require a much higher cost for each Legendary Draw.

More recently, I managed to take my favorite Rare card to max level, Gravebrand Warlock. At max level, it gains the Soul Siphon ability, allowing it to revive again and again after being defeated.

Every new upgrade motivates me even more to use these cards in battles. So, there is nothing better than putting them to the test immediately.

In today's battle, I will use some of these recently upgraded cards to see how they perform in combat.

I always like using Reward cards in battle, especially when they become more powerful.

One combo I have been using a lot this new season is Grove Doomblade combined with the ability of Archon Hanv, which is one of the most powerful Archons in my opinion.

With this combination, our monster can double its already insane damage and defeat several enemy monsters in the last position by itself.

On the other hand, my opponent chose Lorkus as his Archon, which is also very powerful.

This was a very close battle because both players chose powerful monsters.

Among the monsters chosen were two Reward cards from the Conclave collection: Grove Doomblade and Mindless Thrall. I always like using Reward monsters because they are constantly helping me improve my collection.

In this battle, my opponent chose a strong defense in the first positions, while his backline monsters attacked from behind. However, having Grove Doomblade attacking the monsters in the last position helped a lot. What I like most about her is that she has the Ambush ability combined with Double Strike, which can already defeat several monsters during the tactical phase.

My opponent also had some monsters with the Ambush ability, so he was still able to deal some damage at the beginning of the round. On the other hand, Grove is so powerful that when she attacks, the game can even display the "Brutal" message. However, her weakness is her speed. If the monster in the last position has high speed, she will certainly miss some attacks, and that happened in this battle.

In the second round, Grove had already defeated several monsters in the last position. Only the opponent's main tank remained, and without a doubt, it was going to be defeated by our team. Once again, the power of the Reward cards became very clear. Even though I have several powerful cards, Reward cards continue to form the core of most of my teams.

That is why I think it is so important to keep improving your collection in Splinterlands. Even better when this progress happens with almost no money spent, using only the resources earned during the seasons.

My advice for anyone who is starting is to choose one specific rarity and focus all your Draws on it until you get those cards to max level. After that, simply repeat the process with the next rarity.

I hope you enjoyed the post. See you next time!
