Hello Splinter Fans
I've been playing Splinterlands for quite a long time now, and honestly, a lot has changed over the years. The market has gone through incredible moments, but it has also faced some very difficult periods. Even so, I still log into the game almost every day.
Recently, I stopped to think: what still keeps me playing Splinterlands? The answer is simple: I still have clear goals within the game.
Gradually Improving My Collection
At the moment, my main goal is to upgrade my Reward cards. Every season, I accumulate more Glint, open more chests, and gradually improve my collection. What motivates me the most is building a Reward card collection capable of defeating players whose collections are worth thousands of dollars.
The most interesting part is seeing the progress over time. Cards that were once at low levels are now starting to reach more competitive levels. This is especially noticeable with the rare cards from the Conclave Reward collection. Some of them are already at the second-highest level, just one level away from reaching their maximum potential.

This feeling of constant progress is one of the things that motivates me the most to keep playing.
SPS Keeps Falling...
On the other hand, there is one aspect that is truly discouraging: the price of SPS. About three months ago, SPS was trading close to $0.008. One of the things that impressed me about Splinterlands was how SPS managed to maintain its value even when the broader cryptocurrency market was declining. Of course, there were occasional drops, but overall it remained relatively stable.
However, things have changed. Today, SPS is trading below $0.003, representing a significant decline.
Watching the token continuously lose value is not pleasant for those who have followed the project for a long time. Even so, my strategy remains unchanged: I am not selling. I prefer to keep my SPS staked and wait for a possible recovery in the future. Currently, I have nearly 45,000 SPS staked, accumulated through rewards earned directly from the game.
Splinterlands Has Become a Hobby
Perhaps this is the main reason why I am still here. Splinterlands has become part of my daily routine. I don't need to spend hours playing to have fun or improve my account. A few battles each day are enough to complete missions, earn rewards, and continue strengthening my collection.
It's a game that fits easily into my schedule without interfering with other activities. And the best part is seeing that, even with slow progress, my account continues to grow season after season.
What's Your Opinion?
Despite the decline in SPS and all the challenges the game has faced over the years, I'm still here. I have my goals, I keep upgrading my cards, and I continue accumulating SPS for the long term. But now I'd like to hear your thoughts:

Olá Splinter Fanáticos
Já faz bastante tempo que estou jogando Splinterlands e, sendo sincero, muita coisa mudou ao longo desses anos. O mercado já passou por momentos incríveis, mas também enfrentou períodos bastante difíceis. Mesmo assim, continuo entrando no jogo praticamente todos os dias.
Recentemente parei para pensar: o que ainda me mantém em Splinterlands? A resposta é simples: eu ainda tenho objetivos claros dentro do jogo.
Melhorando minha coleção aos poucos
Atualmente meu principal objetivo é evoluir minhas cartas Reward. A cada temporada consigo acumular mais Glint, abrir mais baús e melhorar gradualmente minha coleção. E isso tem me motivado bastante ter uma coleção de Reward que é capaz de derrotar até jogadores com coleções que custam milhares de dolares.
O mais interessante é perceber a evolução ao longo do tempo. Cartas que antes estavam em níveis baixos agora já começam a alcançar níveis mais competitivos. Isso pode ser visto com as cartas raras da coleção reward Conclave. Tem algumas cartas que estão no penúltimo nível, apenas 1 nível para atingir nível máximo.

Essa sensação de progresso constante é uma das coisas que mais me motivam a continuar jogando.
O SPS continua caindo...
Por outro lado, existe um ponto que realmente desanima: o preço do SPS. Há cerca de três meses o SPS estava sendo negociado próximo de US$ 0,008. E umas das coisas que me surpreendiam em Splinterlands era ver que mesmo diante das quedas das criptomoedas o SPS segurava sua cotação, é claro, que as vezes caia um pouco mas com boa estabilidade. Porém, as coisas mudaram hoje o valor já está abaixo de US$ 0,003, uma queda bastante significativa.
Ver o token perder valor continuamente não é algo agradável para quem acompanha o projeto há bastante tempo. Mesmo assim, minha estratégia continua sendo a mesma: não vender. Prefiro manter meus SPS em stake e aguardar uma possível recuperação no futuro. Atualmente já possuo quase 45 mil SPS staked, acumulados através das recompensas obtidas dentro do próprio jogo.
Splinterlands virou um hobby
Talvez esse seja o principal motivo pelo qual continuo aqui. Splinterlands faz parte da minha rotina diária. Não preciso passar horas jogando para me divertir ou evoluir minha conta. Algumas partidas por dia já são suficientes para cumprir missões, acumular recompensas e continuar fortalecendo minha coleção.
É um jogo que consigo encaixar facilmente no meu dia a dia, sem comprometer outras atividades. E o melhor de tudo é perceber que, mesmo avançando devagar, a conta continua evoluindo temporada após temporada.
E qual a sua opinão?
Apesar da queda do SPS e de todas as dificuldades que o jogo enfrentou nos últimos anos, eu ainda continuo por aqui. Tenho meus objetivos, continuo evoluindo minhas cartas e sigo acumulando SPS para o longo prazo. Mas agora quero saber sua opinião:
