For this Walk, I took a slow walk inside and around La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
It wasn’t a long walk, but every step felt heavy with detail, light, and history. This is the kind of place that forces you to stop walking and start looking up.

One of the first things that caught my attention was the height.
The columns rise like trees, branching out toward the ceiling, making the whole space feel more like a forest than a traditional church.

As you move, the light changes constantly.
Stained glass fills the interior with warm and cool colors that shift depending on where you stand. It feels alive, almost like the building is breathing with the daylight.

Stepping outside changes the perspective completely.
From below, the towers feel massive and overwhelming, reminding you that this is still a work in progress — history and construction happening at the same time.

Back inside, surrounded by people from all over the world, there’s a strange mix of silence and movement. Everyone stops, looks up, takes photos, and then just stands there for a moment.

This walk reminded me why I enjoy the Wednesday Walk challenge.
Even in famous places, slowing down and paying attention reveals details you’d normally miss.
