Lol, I saw this particular prompt question and I had to run back to my photo gallery to check if I have any pictures for this year because I am not a photo freak, never have I ever been.
Today, we went for an occasion and my friends were begging me to take pictures because I stood out. My dress was eye catchy and the talk of the event, made me stand out but I didn't oblige because I don't like taking pictures.
So, I rushed down to my photo gallery and there I found the last pictures I had taken of myself, it was a selfie of me outside my church premises while I was waiting for my roommate to finish their rehearsals that particular day which was on Saturday.
On this particular day, which happens to be the 13th of April, I was very down and going through a lot of shit that was keeping my spirit down and putting me in a sober spirit.
I did not feel like talking to anyone, nor did I feel like crying because I couldn't find the tears, so I just sat down outside that church and the only thing that came to my mind was to take a picture of myself, to remember how I was going through the challenges.
At this moment, I was beginning to have so many thoughts and so many doubts about everything happening to me and I just didn't know what to do, I didn't know why I was the only one at the receiving end and it was not making sense but then, even when it felt like the world was crumbling on me, the only thing that came to my mind was to take a selfie about my face and that was exactly what I did.
My mom was battling with an illness that could lead to the amputation of her leg if not treated well and I was in the middle of a school session thinking about how I was going to pay for my school fees and my house rent, the whole thing was overwhelming but I didn't feel like talking about with anyone or crying my eyes out, so I did the only thing that came to my mind at that moment, take a selfie picture of me.
