Being alive and in good health is one of the biggest gifts anyone can have. I have seen people in pain, and I have attended burials before.
I have seen people with ambition, dreams, and hope lie helpless, with no ability to live again.
I know life is tough; we are all going through one difficult thing or another, but if we say we don't see reason to be grateful, then we don't know what we're doing.
As humans, we have the mentality that it is only when we achieve something that life is beautiful, but when life gives us troubles and difficult situations, we believe that we are disadvantaged.
We lament, beat ourselves up, get frustrated, and, as usual, blame the Creator, forgetting that nothing is ever constant in life.
Good times will never last forever, and so bad times, things will happen sporadically to shape us to what we truly are supposed to be so that we can be able to survive life.
We are all trying, for a fact, life is not easy; from financial challenges, family problems, health and so on, we have been battling and never ceased to stop pushing.
I must commend our efforts, yet we also need to learn how to look for how to face the challenges that confront us without complaining and losing hope too soon.
Talking about the beautiful thing that happened to me last month, for real, I had to take some time to reflect on my life.
If I say it has been an easy journey last month, I am a liar; I fought a series of battles that I was not prepared for.
As one is ending, another would pick up; at a point, I had to start asking questions as to what I had done wrong so that I could plead for forgiveness and have everything fall into place once again.
But all those are part of life's processes; it was a phase, and I have learned. Ideally, I would have said last month was tough and treated me badly; however, that's not the story today.
Although there was no promotion at the office, no expectations met, no marriage, no miracle alerts, and so on, I can not say the month was not beautiful.
One of the beautiful things that happened to me last month was making it through the month in good health.
I visited the hospital last week for a check and I saw people in distress; then I realized how favoured I am.
These are people with hope like me; they have families, they have dreams, they have principles and expectations, but they are bound in one place by sickness.
They didn't commit any crime, but they can not move freely, visit places, and their bodies are tormenting them with unbearable pain.
I know someone might be thinking I am just trying to motivate myself and others because things aren't going well, but this is not motivation; this is reality.
Living in health and having what to eat is a blessing. The thing is, most people won't realize the value of health until they are in hospital beds or held at home by health challenges.

I am grateful to the Maker for the previous month; I am hoping for another beautiful month this month, and I will keep positioning myself for opportunities so that I won't just celebrate God's faithfulness with respect to health alone but for breakthrough and other achievements as well.
