Hello lovers of @amazingdrink, welcome you all to my blog. Today am thrilled to share with us all one of my favorite recipes on how to prepare hibiscus drink also called zobo.


This drink is a combination of hibiscus flowers, ginger, cloves, and water. for all hibiscus lovers, it is rich with so much goodness and that too packed with lots of health benefits. Hibiscus are a good source of vitamin C and other antioxidant that help fight free radicals and they are also helpful tissue and collagen production. Aside what have mentioned, hibiscus drink also has a lot of benefits which also include aid in weight loss, anticancer effects, liver health etc.

Hibiscus drink is that one drink I love to prepare myself and am so loving it. For this recipe I also made use of quick pineapple fresh in replacement of pineapple peals since I wasn't able to get the natural one to help serve as a sweetener.

To get started with the hibiscus drink, these were the ingredients I used:
*Hibiscus flower ( 174g)
*Ginger paste (one teaspoon)
*Cloves (half teaspoon)
*Quick pineapple fresh (750ml quantity per water)
*Water (two big cups for boiling)


PROCEDURES
Firstly, I had to rinse the hibiscus flowers quick cause of dirt such as sand with water after which I transferred to my cookware add the ginger and cloves spices and add in the water. I then cover pot and allowed to cook for approximately 30mins.



When it was properly cooked, I allowed to cool off and with the help of a sieve cloth I seperated the liquid from the chaff.


When that was done I went in with the quick fresh allowed to chill for a while and then enjoyed my drink. Preferably serve chilled.
