Greetings community!
As you know I moved to a new house in November of last year, this house requires many repairs and the repairs incur many expenses, I feel that I have been very slow, this is because of the economic situation, however I am proud of what I have achieved, as it was practically uninhabitable, it had no security, it was being burglarized, it had no water service and no electricity. Among other things, leaks, repairs to the roof, bathroom, kitchen, there is still a lot to be done.
If there is one thing I am very happy about, it is that in spite of having some discomforts, it is my own home, I am at peace and I no longer live in a toxic, dreary and prison-like environment.
I have made a few repairs, which although you can't see them, I have spent over $2000, I have spent them very happily because: It is my home, it is my temple and it is my peace, I am doing it my way and within my means.

Como saben me mudé a una nueva casa en noviembre del año pasado, esta casa requiere de muchos arreglos y los arreglos incurren muchos gastos, siento que he ido muy lento, esto es por la situación económica, sin embargo me siento orgullosa de lo logrado, ya que estaba inhabitable prácticamente, no tenía seguridad, la estaban desvalijando, no tenía servicio de agua potable y tampoco tenía electricidad. Entre otras cosas goteras, reparaciones en el techo, baño, cocina, falta mucho por hacer.
Si de algo estoy muy feliz es que a pesar de tener algunas incomodidades es mi propia casa, estoy en paz y ya no vivo en un ambiente toxico, lúgubre y lo más parecido a una prisión.
He realizado unas cuantas reparaciones, que aunque no se ven, he gastado más de 2000$, los he gastado muy feliz porque: Es mi casa, es mi templo y es mi paz, lo estoy haciendo a mi modo y dentro de mis posibilidades.

One of the things I did was to put curtains in my room, the red wine curtain was made by me, which is a low cost DIY.
The second set of curtains is located in what I call "office or workshop" because that's where I have my work tools/instruments, to that place I had to reinforce the windows with welding to glue the protectors that had been stolen. To this room I bought a pair of curtains that I loved for the fabric and for how economical they were, they are very long, I had to cut them to the height of the window and sew it. They certainly made my spaces look nicer.
Of course there are other details like painting, I have painted the walls of both rooms, I have gone little by little, the house is very big.

Una de las cosas que hice fue, ponerle cortinas a mi cuarto, la cortina vino tinto fue elaborada por mí, lo cual es un DIY de bajo costo.
El segundo grupo de cortinas está ubicado en lo que llamo "oficina o taller" porque allí es donde tengo mis instrumentos/herramientas de trabajo, a ese lugar hubo que reforzar las ventanas con soldadura para pegar los protectores que se habían robado. A esta habitación le compré un par de cortinas que me encantaron por la tela y por lo económicas que fueron, son muy largas, tuve que cortarlas a la altura de la ventana y coserla. Sin duda hicieron que mis espacios se vieran más bonitos.
Por supuesto que hay otros detalles como la pintura, he pintado las paredes de ambas habitaciones, he ido poco a poco, la casa es muy grande.

For a while I was in the dark, I only had electricity in one room, I had to put extensions and figure it out, the thieves damaged the entire electrical system of the house, ripped out the wires from the root, what they could not get inside the walls, made short circuit, had to make new system, of this I only have one room to accommodate, I myself have been accommodating the internal wiring thanks to the knowledge that my father gave me and I have been changing outlets, lighters, socket and light bulbs.

Por un tiempo estuve a oscuras, solo contaba con electricidad en un cuarto, tenía que poner extensiones e ingeniármelas, los ladrones dañaron todo el sistema eléctrico de la casa, arrancado los cables de raíz, lo que no pudieron sacar dentro de las paredes, hicieron corto circuito, tocó hacer sistema nuevo, de esto solo me falta un cuarto por acomodar, yo misma he ido acomodando el cableado interno gracias a los conocimientos que me brindó mi padre y he ido cambiando toma corrientes, encendedores, socate y bombillos.

Another of the repairs I am proud of is having repaired my sewing machine after it fell off the table because it is so heavy, I had to disassemble it completely and fix the parts that were bent.
A month ago there was a lot of power rationing in the sector, the light went for long periods, it arrived deficient or with voltage fluctuations, suddenly my sticker printer stopped working and I attributed it to power failures, I could not disassemble it because I did not have or at least I thought I did not have the tools, I did not want to run the risk of taking it to a technician and end up changing parts for their benefit and saying that it is a total loss as happened to me in the past, I do not trust printer technicians thanks to three bad experiences. Thank God I am a computer technician and a micro repair and maintenance technician, so I can repair some things.
I was finally able to find the proper screwdriver to disassemble the printer and to my surprise it was a Flex that was disconnected how did it get disconnected? I don't know, maybe some paper, a little mouse, magic 😂.

Otras de las reparaciones de las cuales me siento orgullosa es haber reparado mi máquina de coser luego que ésta cayera de la mesa por lo pesada que es, tuve que desarmarla completamente y acomodar las piezas que se doblaron.
Hace un mes hubo mucho racionamiento de energía eléctrica en el sector, la luz se iba por períodos prolongados, llegaba deficiente o con fluctuaciones de voltaje, de pronto mi impresora de stickers dejó de funcionar y le atribuí a las fallas de luz, no podía desarmarla porque no tenía o al menos creí no tener las herramientas, no quería correr el riesgo de llevarla aun técnico y terminara cambiando piezas a su beneficio y diciendo que es pérdida total como me sucedió en un pasado, no confío en técnicos de impresoras gracias a tres malas experiencias. Gracias a Dios soy Técnico informático y Técnico en mantenimiento y reparación de Micros, por lo cual, puedo reparar algunas cosas.
Al fin pude encontrar el destornillador apropiado para desarmar la impresora y para mi sorpresa era un Flex que estaba desconectado ¿Cómo se desconectó? No lo sé, quizá algún papel, un ratoncito, magia 😂

Today it was raining when I took the pictures, it's not water jets from the pipes 😂.
We cannot live without the vital liquid, without water, if there is one of the things I feel very proud of is to have made immense efforts to have my own drinking water supply. Before, I had to carry water from my neighbors to get my water supply. It is not easy in my country, I had to ask for permits at the mayor's office, then wait for them to come which took about a month and not counting that it should be a free service in which you could only buy maybe the necessary materials, because the workers charge separate collaborations, their "collaboration" was $ 350 plus the cost of pipes to the second floor (where I live) in which I could only put that water intake, while I save to reach the kitchen and bathroom, meanwhile, I use a long hose to where I need it.
I felt very happy to have the vital liquid, to be able to wash my clothes without problems, in my country there are many areas without water, it is a dilemma to have the service, so I consider that it is my most valuable treasure and it was worth investing so far $ 600 that I had to buy a motor to pull the water up because it does not arrive with force.
Now I must buy two tanks of 2,000 liters and place them one below and one above, so I don't have to start the engine every time.

Hoy estuvo lloviendo cuando tomé las fotos, no es botes de agua de las tuberías 😂
No podemos vivir sin el vital líquido, sin agua, si hay una de las cosas de las que me siento muy orgullosa es poder haber hecho esfuerzos inmensos en tener mi propia toma de agua potable. Antes tenía que cargar agua de los vecinos para abastecerme. No es fácil en mi país esto, tuve que pedir permisos en la alcaldía, luego esperar que pudieron venir lo cual tardaron como un mes y sin contar que debería ser un servicio gratuito en el que solo pudieras comprar quizá los materiales necesarios, pues los obreros cobran colaboraciones aparte, su "colaboración" fue de 350$ más los gastos de tuberías hasta el primer piso (donde vivo) en la que solo he podido poner esa toma de agua, mientras ahorro para que llegue a la cocina y el baño, mientras tanto, uso una manguera larga hasta donde lo necesito.
Sentí mucha alegría tener el vital líquido, poder lavar mi ropa sin problemas, en mi país hay muchas zonas sin agua, es un dilema tener el servicio, por lo cual considero que es mi tesoro más valioso y que valió la pena invertir hasta ahora 600$ que que tuve que comprar un motor para halar el agua hasta arriba pues no llega con fuerza.
Ahora debo comprar dos tanques de 2.000 Litros y colocarlos uno abajo y otro arriba, así no tengo que encender el motor cada rato.
