When the soft light of the afternoon fills the surroundings, you find a little time for yourself. Today, such an afternoon was spent on the banks of this quiet pond located in a corner of the city. When I took the first picture, the busyness of the day had subsided and a strange solitude had descended. The calm water body was reflecting the surrounding scene like a mirror. The shadows of the multi-storey buildings, green trees and the distant sky all merged together in the heart of the pond. This still image was enough to make me feel better at first.
After a while, when I started walking along the bank, I saw a few more people who had come here to seek peace. In the second picture, it is seen that some are sitting on benches in the shade of trees, while others are gazing intently at the water. I myself sat down for a while. This serene environment brings absolute relief after the busyness of the day.
The gentle sound of the water and the swaying of the wind seem to wash away all the fatigue of the mind. The feeling of spending time here is truly incomparable. This pond bank, a little away from the brick jungle of the city, is like a small oasis. Such beautiful afternoons remind us how important it is to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and give ourselves time. Best wishes to everyone.
