We meet hundreds of people every day amidst the dust and noise of the busy city. Some of them leave a deep mark on our minds. One such person is this old man sitting on the side of the road. He is sitting in a corner with his body bent over due to age and physical fatigue. His hat and henna-dyed beard tell the story of his experienced life.
The most heartbreaking thing is that this man does not have two legs. Despite his severe physical disability, he did not stop. Without the help of wheels or any vehicle, he rolls from one place to another, leaning on the ground. A red plastic container is placed in front of him. A small amount of money given by passersby is being collected there. However, the most eye-catching thing is a small lamp placed next to the container. This light seems to not only illuminate his surroundings, but also spread a small ray of hope to survive in his dark and gloomy life. Even facing the harsh reality, he hopes for a little sympathy in the urge of life.
Our small help may not make a big difference in his difficult life, but it can at least put a little smile on his face for a day. Let's look at these people with a little kindness even in our busy lives. Our little sympathy can make their life a little easier.
