I don't really like outside food. I try to avoid it as much as possible for health and cleanliness reasons. But there is an exception to everything, right? In my case, that exception is hot Singara and Alupuri. Just hearing the names of these two foods makes my diet plan fly out the window. It is quite difficult for me to control my cravings for them.
This afternoon, I suddenly felt very hungry. Since it had been several hours since lunch, my stomach was really rumbling. Then, the hot oil pan of that familiar shop and the crispy Singara Puri fried in it flashed before my eyes. What else could I have? I went straight to that small, familiar shop.

When the steaming Aulupuri and a round Singara with a curry made with chanachur arrived on the plate, my heart was filled with happiness. The first bite was that familiar taste, the outside was crispy, and the inside was filled with spicy potatoes. The potato puri tasted amazing when dipped in curry. Such food felt like nectar on a hungry face.
Although I know these are not very healthy, sometimes a little bit of it is enough, especially when hunger and greed compete together. After eating it to my satisfaction, both my body and mind are now calm. Sometimes life becomes beautiful with such small joys.
