A painful trend of road digging has been observed in our area recently, which has disrupted local public life. The most worrying thing is that these reckless acts of the authorities often start during the monsoon season. When nature already makes our normal life difficult with rain and mud, this digging takes the suffering to the extreme level.

During the monsoon season, water and mud accumulate everywhere. Digging roads in this situation turns them into a terrible death trap. The combination of rainwater and road dust creates an unbearable situation, which makes it difficult for ordinary pedestrians, students and people in urgent need to travel.
Minor accidents have become a daily companion. Many times, important roads are closed for long periods, resulting in long traffic jams and wasting precious time of people. Moreover, this mismanagement is also having a serious negative impact on business. The traffic of customers has decreased due to the accumulation of mud in front of the shops.
The most disappointing thing is that these works could have been completed much more easily in winter. The dry weather of winter is much more suitable for excavation. But for some reason, the authorities are keen to start these works only during the rainy season, which brings nothing but suffering to the people. Such unplanned works clearly reveal the negligence and lack of foresight of the local administration.

We hope that the authorities will immediately stop these unplanned excavations and plan to do the works in winter in the future, so that the suffering of the people is reduced. The administration should prioritize the interests of the people and show responsibility. They need to ensure that the work done with the people's tax money does not become a cause of suffering for the people.
