I always laugh when people jump into making resolutions and saying, "New year, new me." I do ask myself, "Is it possible to change ovenight just because the clock hit 12 a.m.? Nah, I don't think so; it takes more than that to say "New Year, New Me." It takes determination and resolve to do that, and what does this have to do with being named Fash?

Hello beautiful or handsome reader, my name is Fashtioluwa. Hive favorite alien from Mars. You don't believe? I will drop evidence at the end of this blog. Let's continue.
What are the things I did last year that I wouldn't want to do again in 2025, which will indicate the new year for me? After sitting down to think about it, I noticed last year was a big improvement for me, and I stopped a lot of bad habits that I had, but there are some good habits I develop that have cost me, and one of them is helping at my own expense.
I know many people will think I should continue, but I think it time I put a stop to it. I will stick with the if I can help, I will help, and if I can't help. After getting my pay for the month, I take out my savings, invest, and pay my bills; then the rest are what I am to use to sort things out. You see that sorting out funds is what I use to sort out other people that are not in the budget.
I find it hard to look away when a person is asking for my help. I always make sure I help in one way or another. The issue is not the help but the number of people asking for help. After helping A, B, C, D, and E, I will now have to ask for help from F, G, and H. I don't really like this lifestyle.
How do I plan to sort this issue out?
I will make sure anyone who requests my help will be asked this question: "Can you wait till next month?" Now this question is because I can't help at that moment. If they can, good, and if they can't, they will have to look for help from above.
What changes am I planning to enact this year?
One of the changes I plan to make this year is to improve my savings habits. I am doing well when it comes to savings, but I believe I can do better, and I already set a certain goal amount I want to have by the end of the year. With great effort comes great result!
