One of the hardest things to deal with is when someone you were once so close to slowly becomes distant. At first, you don’t even notice it. They stop replying as quickly, they stop checking in, and they stop making time. You try to tell yourself they’re just busy, but deep down, you feel it. Something has changed.
It’s painful when a friend becomes a stranger. You start thinking about all the memories, the secrets you shared, the nights you stayed up talking. You wonder what went wrong.
Did you do something? Did they just outgrow you? Or were they never really your friend in the first place?
Friendship breakups are real. They hurt just as much as any other kind of heartbreak, maybe even more. Because when a friend leaves, it’s not just the person you miss, it’s the part of yourself you shared with them. You miss who you were when you were with them.
But one thing I’m learning is that not all friendships are meant to last forever. Som came to our life not to stay , but to teach us lesson , that is how life is meant to be.
Some come to show us how to care, how to trust, and even how to let go.
It’s okay to feel sad when a friendship ends. It’s okay to cry, to be confused, and to miss them. But don’t blame yourself. And don’t chase after someone who has already shown you they no longer want to stay.
Focus on the friends who are still there. The ones who check on you, support you, and accept you as you are. And most importantly, be that kind of friend to others.
Losing a friend can feel like losing a piece of yourself. But with time, you’ll heal. And maybe.... just maybe, you will graduallly become wiser and stronger than you were.
Have this in minnd, not every friendship will last, but every friendship teaches. So my advice to you is to hold on to the good memories, let the pain serve as a lesson, and keep moving forward.
