I was looking through my clothes trying to decide what to wear, and I found this colorful blouse that I hadn't worn in a while. I almost forgot how much I liked it! 😍
Usually, I end up wearing the same jeans and tops because they're comfortable and I don't have to think too much about matching everything. But today I wanted something a little different, so I grabbed my denim shorts, put my hair up in a ponytail, and that was it.
Actually, I spent more time deciding what to wear than getting dressed. Typical me! 😂
I love how this blouse has so many colors. It makes a simple outfit look a little more interesting without needing a bunch of accessories. And with this heat, shorts are definitely a better idea than tight jeans.
Of course, I had to take a picture before leaving the house. I was standing there trying to look serious and stylish, but I kept laughing because I never know what to do with my hands when someone takes my picture. 🤭
One thing I really want to do someday is have a bigger wardrobe. Not necessarily expensive designer clothes, just lots of cute outfits that I can mix and match.
Sometimes I see beautiful clothes online, put them in my shopping cart, and then remember that I have bills to pay. So I close the app and pretend I never saw anything. Hahaha! 😭
That's the reality of being a working girl with expensive taste and a very normal salary.
But I'm learning to enjoy what I already have. I don't need to buy something new every week to feel pretty, and honestly, finding an old favorite in my closet can be just as exciting.
I'm still figuring out my personal style. Some days I like looking elegant, other days I prefer something casual, and sometimes I just want to wear whatever feels comfortable.
Today was definitely a colorful blouse and denim shorts kind of day. 💗
Now I just need to remember where I put this blouse so it doesn't disappear into my closet for another six months! 😂
