Today feels a little special because I’m pretty sure this is my last short of the year. The weather is slowly changing, and I can already feel that soft touch of cold air creeping into the mornings and evenings. It’s that moment when you step outside and think, “Hmm… maybe it’s time to bring out the sweaters.” But before fully welcoming the colder days, I wanted to enjoy this last little moment of warmth.
Wearing shorts always gives me this sense of freedom—light, comfortable, and relaxed. But now, as the seasons shift, I can feel the cozy days coming closer. Honestly, I love that feeling too. The transition between warm sunshine and chilly breezes always brings a bit of magic, like the world is gently preparing us for new memories, new routines, and new feelings.
So here I am, enjoying what might be the final short-weather day of the year, taking it slow, feeling comfortable, and appreciating the mix of sunshine and breeze. Soon it will be time for jackets, scarves, warm drinks, and everything that makes the cold season beautiful. But today… today feels just right.
