Welcome back to hive garden blog. Today i would like to show you the capsicum of my garden.I was scrolling through my photo gallery. Then I saw this picture about Capsicum tree in my mobile gallery. I just have an idea in my mind, why don't I share with my friends of Hive, how to plant a perfect capsicum plant at home and what precautions should be taken with it?
Capsicum which is known as Bell pepper, in my language i call as Shimala Mirch and capsicum, it is my favorite vegetable. If this is your favorite vegetable, then my advice would be to grow it in your home in an organic way and don't buy it from Market as it is hybrid and unhealthy. As organically grown, freshly cut capsicum to enhance more taste of your dish.
Capsicum comes in three colors in India: Red, Yellow and Green. I would like to tell you how green is grown? Because green capsicum is the biggest in my area. Growing it in garden is easy and doesn't need much Care.
Capsicum plant should always be planted at a temperature of 30 to 35 degree temperature, neither too hot nor too cold, a moderate environment is required. I had planted this tree in November, the result of which you can see is very good.
I brought capsicum from the market and Cut the capsicum from centre I removed all the seeds from it and spread the seeds in the soil in a pot, After that I added a layer of soil so that our seeds does not dry out.
Will keep studying as when I planted it there was not much winter or summer. So I kept my plant in the sun permanently. Because the sun was not strong, And I used to water the capsicum plants once in 4 to 5 days. You have to do this for 1 month, then after 1 month you will see that your capsicum tree will grow big about 1O to 12 inch. Now you have to shift the plant to another big pot, be careful not to damage the root while shifting it to another pot.Sprinkle some water and give them a mild dose of fertilizers like organic seaweed extract, manure or compost to help them settle in. Give them water twice to thrice a week.
The well-treated capsicum plants start bearing fruits within two months of planting. You can start harvesting your capsicums when they grow to moderate size and skin starts to look smooth and glossy. It's perfect to enjoy capsicum in your dish.
Like I have been serving this plant a lot, perhaps it is the result of that that I have got such a green capsicum, believe me there is a lot of difference in the taste of home grown capsicum and market capsicum. Success is complete when you see lush green vegetables in your plant.
This entire plantation and all this has been done by my father, so I give all the credit to him. As I told earlier, I assist my father like watering and trimming the plants. My father is very fond of plantation. He wakes up early in the morning and goes to the terrace. I do gardening and I get a little lazy in the morning,Therefore do not take photographs of whole process.
You guys also try planting capsicum in your house once and the happiness you will get cannot be expressed in words.
