Over the last few years, I watched the project that was Leofinance grow. Threads came along and the excitement and fervor around the community erupted. Then came #inleo.
Now I will be the first to admit, I am not at all that informed or hip when it comes to all that encompasses the awesomeness that is InLeo. That said, I do know one big thing about this lovely joint, the tribe of people that makes it is second to none.
Over the last couple years I got to interact with many in the community, most notably @bradleyarrow and @jongolson, and let me tell you, their enthusiasm is infectious. In fact, it was due to Bradley's urging that I posted my first ever thread, and Jongo, well, if he can foray into homesteading and truck driving, then I shouldn't be intimidated by trying out something new.
So here I am, making my very first, long form blog post in, InLeo.
Yes, it's probably way overdue, but I tend to lurk and observe more than dive right into things. It's a character flaw I imagine, but thanks to all ya'll being so dang effervescent, well, I'm willing to try it.

I am definitely picking up these kind of vibes
So, in an attempt to wander more into this realm, I am also considering a premium membership, because orange checks are cool. Plus, as I found out last night, getting into a bit of a whimsical thread with excellent people like @ericburgoyne and @taskmaster4450le is more than a fun way to blow off steam after a long week of writing papers and homesteading.

And on that note, as I sit here sipping homemade sugar-free strawberry lemonade that I whipped up before I wrote this little ode to my noob InLeo foray, I think it's only fitting to offer up what I would be offering up to the community. I mean, it's only fair since the community and platform offers so much in return.
Most of my blog posts are philosophical, growth and wellness, homesteading-themed, or travel in nature. I'm also a huge table top board and rpg game enthusiast, play quite a bit of Magic The Gathering, am a full time college student, a parent to two amazing and mostly grown kids, and oh yes, more than a bit fond of food and music. After over seven years on the Hive blockchain, I still haven't run out of things to ramble about.

I've been known to travel a bit too.
That said, I really appreciate instruction, so if there's some pointers my InLeo crew, I am most receptive of such things, and if I am outright fumbling something, please let me know!
And on that note, here's my super cheesy signoff to you all:
To InLeo! And Beyond!!
