The Bible is not just an ordinary book, but it is a book of prophecy. And as a Christian, you must have knowledge about what is coming, which is the future. As a believer, you must be able to see what God is planning and showing you. You must be aware of your surroundings.
Prophetic proclamation are from God, he says this so that when those prophecy comes to manifestation, we can believe what he has told us. We as believer should not just leave our daily lives by saying the popular saying, "what we be will be", no, we have the ultimate power to tell God what we want and also shape our future.
As a man, we can plan our things the way we want it but it is God, our creator who will direct us in the right path that he want for us. A Christian knows his future, what is going to happen and how it should end if we walk in line with God.
We must be certain of our future, we must be certain of God's work and we must be certain that we are doing God's good while we are still alive.
