It is the second time that a question from @liotes community prompts many thoughts in my mind, well this specific topic always brings many rants here in Hive. The question summarized was "How to deal with the frustration of posting articles that aren't recognized properly". I saw some comments, and I agree with most of them. But I thought that people took a long breath to stay rational the majority of the time. Most of them were rational thinking: "Keep walking and don't look behind". My answer was a bit more complex so I will try to expand a bit in here.

Humans need validation. Who never smiled when received a "good job" after doing that? It has been one of our basic caring needs since we were born. We achieve something and receive a "good job" from our parents. Well, in a healthy home that is the most common thing. However, our parents have their luggage of experience, and sometimes they lack doing that. That is something that I am learning now how the lack of validation from my parents contributed to what I am nowadays. I can jump a bit about the traumas and leave to another post, but well I am a person with problems with self-esteem and with some emotional expression because of that. It is a bit difficult to write about these personal things, but I guess I need to open up, maybe that way I can understand more. Why do I need to work a lot on that? Because the validation that I provide now to my kids isn't something that flows naturally spontaneously and even sometimes my wife just warns me that maybe I should improve more on that. It is tough to do something that you never had.

So what is the relationship between that and the frustration about text recognition? Of course, the first feeling when you post and don't see anyone reading your post is bad. I mentioned one time to someone, I felt this same emptiness when I posted a trip to the pineapple community and despite a good fat reward, I didn't get any comment. I got money, but it feels like empty money. I post frequently in another community, sometimes a less rewarded post is the one that I got more comments on compared to others. When that happened I felt better. I had a satisfaction, I had a certain validation. I am greedy for sure, I wanted all my posts to get at least 10-20$. But what's the point of getting money for something that nobody reads?

I remember once I published a post with lots of effort, about my experience using a blockchain. It got less than 1$ in reward, one person commented. I got frustrated. But I got a good reward in that post that it isn't in the blockchain. A friend of mine read it after the rewards were done, and messaged me saying that this post was wonderful and didn't deserve that reward. That was a very beautiful reward that I got it and made me happy.

So yes, I got frustrated after 7 days and saw a post that I added my best didn't get the expected recognition. But after, I see that this post makes a part of my progress, my progress. Rewards and comments come not only because of our quality of authors. If this were true, I would see many other authors also getting much better interactions with their posts, maybe Hive wouldn't be able to distribute all the rewards. Hive is a dump of posts, difficult to find gems, for example, just now I discovered a nice author who has been publishing since Steemit, but his posts weren't exposed until then. So the best way to deal with it? These posts are part of my experience, and it is nice to look behind and check previous posts, to see how I progressed in my writing and emotional development.

In addition to my exercises of validating my kids at home, I try to also do the same thing in Hive. One of my goals in the blockchain is to validate, especially newbies that are promising authors. It is nice to see some of them that already jumped a bit as authors, and some tips and initial support gave them some push. In addition, I have some authors that I follow and it is good to see that they come also to my post to comment and/or vote. In the end, I made friends even with my vote power still under $0.10.

É a segunda vez que uma pergunta da comunidade @liotes me faz refletir bastante, bem, esse tópico específico sempre traz muitas reclamações aqui no Hive. A pergunta resumida foi "Como lidar com a frustração de publicar artigos que não são reconhecidos adequadamente". Vi alguns comentários e concordo com a maioria deles. Mas pensei que as pessoas precisaram respirar fundo para permanecerem racionais na maioria das vezes. A maioria delas estava pensando racionalmente: "Continue caminhando e não olhe para trás". Minha resposta foi um pouco mais complexa, então tentarei expandir um pouco aqui.

Os seres humanos precisam de validação. Quem nunca sorriu ao receber um "bom trabalho" depois de fazer algo? Isso tem sido uma de nossas necessidades básicas de cuidado desde que nascemos. Alcançamos algo e recebemos um "bom trabalho" de nossos pais. Bem, em um lar saudável, isso é a coisa mais comum. No entanto, nossos pais têm sua bagagem de experiência e, às vezes, deixam de fazer isso. Isso é algo que estou aprendendo agora, como a falta de validação dos meus pais contribuiu para o que sou hoje. Posso pular um pouco sobre os traumas e deixar para outro post, mas bem, sou uma pessoa com problemas de autoestima e com alguma dificuldade de expressão emocional por causa disso. É um pouco difícil escrever sobre essas coisas pessoais, mas acho que preciso me abrir, talvez assim eu possa entender mais. Por que preciso trabalhar muito nisso? Porque a validação que dou agora aos meus filhos não é algo que flui naturalmente espontaneamente e, às vezes, minha esposa apenas me adverte que talvez eu devesse melhorar mais nisso. É difícil fazer algo que você nunca teve.

Então, qual é a relação entre isso e a frustração sobre o reconhecimento do texto? Claro, o primeiro sentimento quando você publica e não vê ninguém lendo sua postagem é ruim. Uma vez mencionei a alguém que senti esse mesmo vazio quando publiquei uma viagem para a comunidade do abacaxi e, apesar de uma boa recompensa, não recebi nenhum comentário. Recebi dinheiro, mas parece dinheiro vazio. Posto frequentemente em outra comunidade, às vezes um post menos recompensado é aquele que recebe mais comentários em comparação com outros. Quando isso aconteceu, me senti melhor. Eu tive uma satisfação, eu tive uma certa validação. Sou ganancioso, com certeza, queria que todos os meus posts recebessem pelo menos 10-20$. Mas qual é o ponto de receber dinheiro por algo que ninguém lê?

Lembro-me uma vez que publiquei um post com muito esforço, sobre minha experiência usando uma blockchain. Recebeu menos de 1$ de recompensa, uma pessoa comentou. Fiquei frustrado. Mas recebi uma boa recompensa naquele post que não está na blockchain. Um amigo meu o leu depois que as recompensas terminaram e me mandou uma mensagem dizendo que esse post era maravilhoso e não merecia aquela recompensa. Foi uma recompensa muito bonita que recebi e me fez feliz.

Sim, fiquei frustrado depois de 7 dias e vi que um post que dediquei meu melhor não recebeu o reconhecimento esperado. Mas depois, vejo que esse post faz parte do meu progresso, meu progresso. Recompensas e comentários vêm não apenas por causa de nossa qualidade como autores. Se isso fosse verdade, eu veria muitos outros autores também recebendo interações muito melhores com seus posts, talvez o Hive não fosse capaz de distribuir todas as recompensas. O Hive é um monte de posts, difícil de encontrar gemas, por exemplo, agora mesmo descobri um autor legal que vem publicando desde o Steemit, mas seus posts não foram expostos até então. Então, qual é a melhor maneira de lidar com isso? Esses posts fazem parte da minha experiência, e é bom olhar para trás e verificar posts anteriores, para ver como progredi em minha escrita e desenvolvimento emocional.

Além dos meus exercícios de validação com meus filhos em casa, tento fazer o mesmo no Hive. Um dos meus objetivos na blockchain é validar, especialmente novatos que são autores promissores. É bom ver alguns deles que já deram um salto como autores, e algumas dicas e apoio inicial os impulsionaram. Além disso, tenho alguns autores que sigo e é bom ver que eles também vêm aos meus posts para comentar e/ou votar. No final das contas, fiz amigos mesmo com meu poder de voto ainda abaixo de $0.10.
