Spending the afternoon on the banks of the Narasunda River, which flows past our village, is a very favorite habit of mine. Today's afternoon was just such a peaceful and beautiful time. I went to the riverbank in the afternoon to find relief from the busyness of mechanical life and peace of mind. At that time, soft light was spreading all around, and a group of clouds was floating in the sky.
This silent, peaceful environment on the riverbank easily embraces people. Whenever I come here, all the fatigue and worries of the mind go away in an instant. Looking at the still water of the river gives a strange feeling. When the green trees on the other side and the clouds in the sky fall on the water, it feels as if an artist has painted a picture perfectly on the canvas. The joy of sitting alone and enjoying this mirror-like reflection of the water is completely different.
I walked along the riverbank for a while and looked at the surrounding scenery. The view of the steep banks of the land and the rows of trees standing on it is very ordinary, but there is an eternal rural beauty hidden in it. When the cold wind blew over the river, my mind was instantly soothed. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the aroma of this alluvial soil and the touch of nature are truly incomparable.
The Narasunda River is an eternal face of our region. Although the water of the river is somewhat calm and still at this time of year, its own beauty has not diminished at all. It may not be as vast as the mountains or the sea, but the calm softness that is there directly touches the mind. Spending some moments in nature outside our daily lives brings mental peace.
While sitting on the bank of the river, the sound of the birds returning home and the gentle wind seemed to get lost somewhere. This calm face of nature removes the fatigue of the eyes and mind. After spending a wonderful afternoon in this way, when I left for home before evening, I felt a sense of freshness and memories of those beautiful moments on the bank of the river.
